5For Moses writes about the righteousness that is based on the law, that the person who does the commandments shall live by them. (Lev 18:5; Neh 9:29; Hez 20:11; Hez 20:13; Hez 20:21; Mat 19:17; Luk 10:28; Rom 7:10; Gal 3:12)6But the righteousness based on faith says, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’” (that is, to bring Christ down) (Yas 30:12; Rom 9:30)7“or ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). (İbr 13:20; Va 9:1)8But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim); (Yas 30:14)9because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
