Make a Joyful Noise to the Lord

1 A Psalm. Oh sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done marvelous things! His right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for him. (Ex 15:6; Job 40:14; Ps 33:3; Ps 72:18; Ps 96:3; Lu 1:51) 

2 The Lord has made known his salvation; he has revealed his righteousness in the sight of the nations. (Ps 96:2; Isa 49:6; Isa 52:10; Isa 59:16; Isa 62:2; Isa 63:5; Lu 2:30; Ro 3:25) 

3 He has remembered his steadfast love and faithfulness to the house of Israel. All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God. (Ps 22:27; Ps 36:5; Ps 98:2; Lu 1:54; Lu 1:72) 

4 Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth; break forth into joyous song and sing praises! (Ps 66:1; Isa 44:23) 

5 Sing praises to the Lord with the lyre, with the lyre and the sound of melody! (Isa 51:3) 

6 With trumpets and the sound of the horn make a joyful noise before the King, the Lord! (Nu 10:10; 1Ch 15:24; 2Ch 15:14; Ps 98:4) 

7 Let the sea roar, and all that fills it; the world and those who dwell in it! (Ps 24:1; Ps 96:11) 

8 Let the rivers clap their hands; let the hills sing for joy together (Ps 89:12; Ps 93:3; Isa 55:12) 

9 before the Lord, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with equity. (Ps 58:11; Ps 96:13)

Jubel über Gott, den Retter

1 Ein Psalm. Singt dem HERRN ein neues Lied, denn er hat Wunder vollbracht! Allein seine starke Hand, sein heiliger Arm, brachte die entscheidende Hilfe. 

2 Der HERR hat gezeigt, dass er Rettung verschafft; vor den Augen aller Völker ließ er offenbar werden, wie er Heil schenkt. 

3 Er hat ganz Israel gegenüber an seine Gnade und Treue gedacht. Bis ans Ende der Erde sieht man die Rettung, die von unserem Gott kommt. 

4 Alle Welt juble dem HERRN zu. Ja, freut euch, jubelt und lasst Musik ertönen – 

5 spielt zu Ehren des HERRN auf der Zither! Lasst die Zither hören und singt! 

6 Trompeten und der Schall des Widderhorns sollen erklingen, jubelt dem HERRN, unserem König, zu! 

7 Rauschen soll das Meer mit allem, was in ihm lebt, und die Erde mit all ihren Bewohnern stimme ein! 

8 Die Flüsse sollen in die Hände klatschen und die Berge gemeinsam mit ihnen in Jubel ausbrechen, 

9 wenn der HERR kommt, um auf der Erde Gericht zu halten. Er wird die Welt gerecht richten und über alle Völker ein Urteil sprechen, durch das sich seine Aufrichtigkeit zeigt.
