1O gün Yahuda'da şu ilahi söylenecek: Güçlü bir kentimiz var. Çünkü Tanrı'nın kurtarışı Kente sur ve duvar gibidir.2Açın kentin kapılarını, Sadık kalan doğru ulus içeri girsin.3Sana güvendiği için Düşüncelerinde sarsılmaz olanı Tam bir esenlik içinde korursun.4RAB'be sonsuza dek güvenin, Çünkü RAB, evet RAB sonsuza dek kalıcı kayadır.5Yüksekte oturanı alçaltır, Yüce kenti yıkar, Yerle bir eder.6O kent ayak altında, Mazlumların ayakları, Yoksulların adımları altında çiğnenecek.7Doğru adamın yolu düzdür, Ey Dürüst Olan, doğru adamın yolunu sen düzlersin.8Evet, ya RAB, ilkelerinin çizdiği yolda sana umut bağladık, Adın ve ünündür yüreğimizin dileği,9Geceleri canım sana susar, Evet, içimde ruhum seni özler; Çünkü senin ilkelerin yeryüzünde oldukça, Orada oturanlar doğruluğu öğrenir.10Kötüler lütfedilse bile doğruluğu öğrenmez. Dürüstlüğün egemen olduğu diyarda haksızlık eder, RAB'bin büyüklüğünü görmezler.11Ya RAB, elin yükseldi, ama görmüyorlar, Halkın için gösterdiğin gayreti görüp utansınlar. Evet, düşmanların için yaktığın ateş onları yiyip bitirecek.12Ya RAB, bizi esenliğe çıkaracak sensin, Çünkü ne yaptıysak hepsi senin başarındır.13Ey Tanrımız RAB, senden başka efendiler bizi yönetti, Ama yalnız sana, senin adına yakaracağız.14O efendiler öldü, artık yaşamıyorlar, Dirilmeyecek onlar. Çünkü onları cezalandırıp yok ettin, Anılmalarına son verdin.15Ulusu çoğalttın, ya RAB, Evet, ulusu çoğalttın ve yüceltildin. Her yönde ülkenin sınırlarını genişlettin.16Ya RAB, sıkıntıdayken seni aradılar. Onları terbiye ettiğinde sessizce yakararak içlerini döktüler.17Doğum vakti yaklaşan gebe kadın Çektiği sancıdan ötürü nasıl kıvranır, feryat ederse, Senin önünde biz de öyle olduk, ya RAB.18Gebe kaldık, kıvrandık, Rüzgardan başka bir şey doğurmadık sanki. Ne dünyaya kurtuluş sağlayabildik, Ne de dünyada yaşayanları yaşama kavuşturabildik.19Ama senin ölülerin yaşayacak, Bedenleri dirilecek. Ey sizler, toprak altında yatanlar, Uyanın, ezgiler söyleyin. Çünkü senin çiyin sabah çiyine benzer, Toprak ölülerini yaşama kavuşturacak.20Haydi halkım, iç odalarınıza girip Ardınızdan kapılarınızı kapatın, RAB'bin öfkesi geçene dek kısa süre gizlenin.21Çünkü dünyada yaşayanları Suçlarından ötürü cezalandırmak için RAB bulunduğu yerden geliyor. Dünya üzerine dökülen kanı açığa vuracak, Öldürülenleri artık saklamayacak.

You Keep Him in Perfect Peace
1In that day this song will be sung in the land of Judah: “We have a strong city; he sets up salvation as walls and bulwarks. (Yşa 27:2; Yşa 60:18)2Open the gates, that the righteous nation that keeps faith may enter in. (Mez 118:19)3You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. (Yşa 30:15)4Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.5For he has humbled the inhabitants of the height, the lofty city. He lays it low, lays it low to the ground, casts it to the dust. (Yşa 25:12)6The foot tramples it, the feet of the poor, the steps of the needy.” (Yşa 25:4)7The path of the righteous is level; you make level the way of the righteous. (1 Sa 2:9; Mez 37:23)8In the path of your judgments, O Lord, we wait for you; your name and remembrance are the desire of our soul. (Çık 3:15)9My soul yearns for you in the night; my spirit within me earnestly seeks you. For when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness. (2 Ta 33:12; Yşa 26:16)10If favor is shown to the wicked, he does not learn righteousness; in the land of uprightness he deals corruptly and does not see the majesty of the Lord. (Mez 73:3)11O Lord, your hand is lifted up, but they do not see it. Let them see your zeal for your people, and be ashamed. Let the fire for your adversaries consume them. (Mez 21:9; Yşa 5:12; Yşa 33:14; Mik 5:9)12O Lord, you will ordain peace for us, for you have indeed done for us all our works. (Yşa 9:7; Mik 5:5)13O Lord our God, other lords besides you have ruled over us, but your name alone we bring to remembrance. (2 Kr 16:3; 2 Kr 18:4; Mez 20:7; Yşa 2:8; Yşa 2:20)14They are dead, they will not live; they are shades, they will not arise; to that end you have visited them with destruction and wiped out all remembrance of them.15But you have increased the nation, O Lord, you have increased the nation; you are glorified; you have enlarged all the borders of the land. (Yşa 9:3; Yşa 54:2)16O Lord, in distress they sought you; they poured out a whispered prayer when your discipline was upon them. (Yşa 37:1; Hoş 5:15)17Like a pregnant woman who writhes and cries out in her pangs when she is near to giving birth, so were we because of you, O Lord; (Yşa 13:8)18we were pregnant, we writhed, but we have given birth to wind. We have accomplished no deliverance in the earth, and the inhabitants of the world have not fallen. (Yşa 26:17)19Your dead shall live; their bodies shall rise. You who dwell in the dust, awake and sing for joy! For your dew is a dew of light, and the earth will give birth to the dead. (Hez 37:12; Dan 12:2; Hoş 13:14; Hoş 14:5)20Come, my people, enter your chambers, and shut your doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until the fury has passed by. (Yşa 10:25)21For behold, the Lord is coming out from his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity, and the earth will disclose the blood shed on it, and will no more cover its slain. (Yşa 24:5; Mik 1:3)
