The Parable of the Ten Virgins
1“Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps[1] and went to meet the bridegroom.[2] (Mat 9:15; Luk 19:13; Yu 3:29; Va 19:7; Va 21:2; Va 21:9)2Five of them were foolish, and five were wise. (Mat 24:45)3For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them,4but the wise took flasks of oil with their lamps.5As the bridegroom was delayed, they all became drowsy and slept.
