1 O sıralarda, bir Şabat Günü İsa ekinler arasından geçiyordu. Öğrencileri acıkınca başakları koparıp yemeye başladılar. (Luk 7:18) 2 Bunu gören Ferisiler İsa'ya, ‹‹Bak, öğrencilerin Şabat Günü yasak olanı yapıyor›› dediler. 3 İsa onlara, ‹‹Davut'la yanındakiler acıkınca Davut'un ne yaptığını okumadınız mı?›› diye sordu. 4 ‹‹Tanrı'nın evine girdi, kendisinin ve yanındakilerin yemesi yasak olan, ancak kâhinlerin yiyebileceği adak ekmeklerini yedi. 5 Ayrıca kâhinlerin her hafta tapınakta Şabat Günü'yle ilgili buyruğu çiğnedikleri halde suçlu sayılmadıklarını Kutsal Yasa'da okumadınız mı? 6 Size şunu söyleyeyim, burada tapınaktan daha üstün bir şey var. 7 Eğer siz, ‹Ben kurban değil, merhamet isterim› sözünün anlamını bilseydiniz, suçsuzları yargılamazdınız. 8 Çünkü İnsanoğlu Şabat Günü'nün de Rabbi'dir.›› 9 İsa oradan ayrılıp onların havrasına gitti. 10 Orada eli sakat bir adam vardı. İsa'yı suçlamak amacıyla kendisine, ‹‹Şabat Günü bir hastayı iyileştirmek Kutsal Yasa'ya uygun mudur?›› diye sordular. 11 İsa onlara şu karşılığı verdi: ‹‹Hanginizin bir koyunu olur da Şabat Günü çukura düşerse onu tutup çıkarmaz? 12 İnsan koyundan çok daha değerlidir! Demek ki, Şabat Günü iyilik yapmak Yasa'ya uygundur.›› 13 Sonra adama, ‹‹Elini uzat›› dedi. Adam elini uzattı. Eli öteki gibi yine sapasağlam oluverdi. 14 Bunun üzerine Ferisiler dışarı çıktılar, İsa'yı yok etmek için anlaştılar. 



15 İsa bunu bildiği için oradan ayrıldı. Birçok kişi ardından gitti. İsa hepsini iyileştirdi. 16 Kim olduğunu açıklamamaları için onları uyardı. 17-18 Bu, Peygamber Yeşaya aracılığıyla bildirilen şu söz yerine gelsin diye oldu: ‹‹İşte Kulum, O'nu ben seçtim. Gönlümün hoşnut olduğu sevgili Kulum O'dur. Ruhum'u O'nun üzerine koyacağım, O da adaleti uluslara bildirecek. 19 Çekişip bağırmayacak, Sokaklarda kimse O'nun sesini duymayacak. 20 Ezilmiş kamışı kırmayacak, Tüten fitili söndürmeyecek, Ve sonunda adaleti zafere ulaştıracak. 21 Uluslar da O'nun adına umut bağlayacak.›› 



22 Daha sonra İsa'ya kör ve dilsiz bir cinli getirdiler. İsa adamı iyileştirdi. Adam konuşmaya, görmeye başladı. (Mar 3:20; Luk 6:43) 23 Bütün kalabalık şaşırıp kaldı. ‹‹Bu, Davut'un Oğlu olabilir mi?›› diye soruyorlardı. 24 Ferisiler bunu duyunca, ‹‹Bu adam cinleri, ancak cinlerin önderi Baalzevul'un gücüyle kovuyor›› dediler. 25 Onların ne düşündüğünü bilen İsa şöyle dedi: ‹‹Kendi içinde bölünen ülke yıkılır. Kendi içinde bölünen kent ya da ev ayakta kalamaz. 26 Eğer Şeytan Şeytan'ı kovarsa, kendi içinde bölünmüş demektir. Bu durumda onun egemenliği nasıl ayakta kalabilir? 27 Eğer ben cinleri Baalzevul'un gücüyle kovuyorsam, sizin adamlarınız kimin gücüyle kovuyor? Bu durumda sizi kendi adamlarınız yargılayacak. 28 Ama ben cinleri Tanrı'nın Ruhu'yla kovuyorsam, Tanrı'nın Egemenliği üzerinize gelmiş demektir. 29 ‹‹Bir kimse güçlü adamın evine girip malını nasıl çalabilir? Ancak onu bağladıktan sonra evini soyabilir. (Mar 2:23; Mar 3:1; Luk 6:1) 30 ‹‹Benden yana olmayan bana karşıdır. Benimle birlikte toplamayan dağıtıyor demektir. 31 Bunun için size diyorum ki, insanların işlediği her günah, ettiği her küfür bağışlanacak; ama Ruh'a edilen küfür bağışlanmayacaktır. 32 İnsanoğlu'na karşı bir söz söyleyen, bağışlanacak; ama Kutsal Ruh'a karşı bir söz söyleyen, ne bu çağda, ne de gelecek çağda bağışlanacaktır. 33 ‹‹Ya ağacı iyi, meyvesini de iyi sayın; ya da ağacı kötü, meyvesini de kötü sayın. Çünkü her ağaç meyvesinden tanınır. 34 Sizi engerekler soyu! Kötü olan sizler nasıl iyi sözler söyleyebilirsiniz? Çünkü ağız yürekten taşanı söyler. 35 İyi insan içindeki iyilik hazinesinden iyilik, kötü insan içindeki kötülük hazinesinden kötülük çıkarır. 36 Size şunu söyleyeyim, insanlar söyledikleri her boş söz için yargı günü hesap verecekler. 37 Kendi sözlerinizle aklanacak, yine kendi sözlerinizle suçlu çıkarılacaksınız.›› 



38 Bunun üzerine bazı din bilginleri ve Ferisiler, ‹‹Öğretmenimiz, senden doğaüstü bir belirti görmek istiyoruz›› dediler. (Mar 8:11; Luk 11:24) 39 İsa onlara şu karşılığı verdi: ‹‹Kötü ve vefasız kuşak bir belirti istiyor! Ama ona Peygamber Yunus'un belirtisinden başka bir belirti gösterilmeyecektir. 40 Yunus, nasıl üç gün üç gece o koca balığın karnında kaldıysa, İnsanoğlu da üç gün üç gece yerin bağrında kalacaktır. 41 Ninova halkı, yargı günü bu kuşakla birlikte kalkıp bu kuşağı yargılayacak. Çünkü Ninovalılar, Yunus'un çağrısı üzerine tövbe ettiler. Bakın, Yunus'tan daha üstün olan buradadır. 42 Güney Kraliçesi, yargı günü bu kuşakla birlikte kalkıp bu kuşağı yargılayacak. Çünkü kraliçe, Süleyman'ın bilgece sözlerini dinlemek için dünyanın ta öbür ucundan gelmişti. Bakın, Süleyman'dan daha üstün olan buradadır. 43 ‹‹Kötü ruh insandan çıkınca kurak yerlerde dolanıp huzur arar, ama bulamaz. 44 O zaman, ‹Çıktığım eve, kendi evime döneyim› der. Eve gelince orayı bomboş, süpürülmüş, düzeltilmiş bulur. 45 Bunun üzerine gider, yanına kendisinden kötü yedi ruh daha alır ve eve girip yerleşirler. Böylece o kişinin son durumu ilkinden beter olur. Bu kötü kuşağın başına gelecek olan da budur.›› 



46 İsa daha halka konuşurken, annesiyle kardeşleri geldi. Dışarıda durmuş, O'nunla konuşmak istiyorlardı. (Mar 3:31; Luk 8:19) 47 Birisi İsa'ya, ‹‹Bak, annenle kardeşlerin dışarıda duruyor, seninle görüşmek istiyorlar›› dedi. 48 İsa, kendisiyle konuşana, ‹‹Kimdir annem, kimdir kardeşlerim?›› karşılığını verdi. 49 Eliyle öğrencilerini göstererek, ‹‹İşte annem, işte kardeşlerim!›› dedi. 50 ‹‹Göklerdeki Babam'ın isteğini kim yerine getirirse, kardeşim, kızkardeşim ve annem odur.››

1 At that time Jesus went through the grainfields on the Sabbath. His disciples were hungry, and they began to pluck heads of grain and to eat. (Yas 23:25; Mar 2:23; Luk 6:1) 2 But when the Pharisees saw it, they said to him, “Look, your disciples are doing what is not lawful to do on the Sabbath.” (Çık 20:9; Mat 12:10; Luk 13:14; Luk 14:3; Yu 5:10; Yu 7:23; Yu 9:16) 3 He said to them, “Have you not read what David did when he was hungry, and those who were with him: (1 Sa 21:1; Mat 21:16) 4 how he entered the house of God and ate the bread of the Presence, which it was not lawful for him to eat nor for those who were with him, but only for the priests? (Çık 25:30; Lev 24:5) 5 Or have you not read in the Law how on the Sabbath the priests in the temple profane the Sabbath and are guiltless? (Say 28:9; 1 Ta 9:32; Yu 7:22) 6 I tell you, something greater than the temple is here. (Hag 2:9; Mal 3:1; Mat 12:8; Mat 12:41) 7 And if you had known what this means, ‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice,’ you would not have condemned the guiltless. (Hoş 6:6; Mik 6:6; Mat 9:13) 8 For the Son of Man is lord of the Sabbath.” (Mat 9:6) 



9 He went on from there and entered their synagogue. (Mar 3:1; Luk 6:6) 10 And a man was there with a withered hand. And they asked him, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?”—so that they might accuse him. (Mat 12:2; Luk 11:54; Luk 14:3; Luk 20:20; Yu 8:6) 11 He said to them, “Which one of you who has a sheep, if it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will not take hold of it and lift it out? (Çık 23:4; Yas 22:4) 12 Of how much more value is a man than a sheep! So it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.” (Mat 6:26; Mat 10:31; Yu 5:16) 13 Then he said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And the man stretched it out, and it was restored, healthy like the other. (1 Kr 13:4) 14 But the Pharisees went out and conspired against him, how to destroy him. 



15 Jesus, aware of this, withdrew from there. And many followed him, and he healed them all (Mat 10:23; Mat 19:2; Mar 3:7; Yu 10:39) 16 and ordered them not to make him known. (Mat 8:4; Mar 1:25; Mar 3:12; Mar 8:30; Luk 4:41; Luk 9:21) 17 This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah: (Mat 1:22) 18 “Behold, my servant whom I have chosen, my beloved with whom my soul is well pleased. I will put my Spirit upon him, and he will proclaim justice to the Gentiles. (Yşa 42:1; Yşa 61:1; Luk 4:18; Yu 3:34; Elç 4:27; Elç 4:30; Elç 10:38) 19 He will not quarrel or cry aloud, nor will anyone hear his voice in the streets; 20 a bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not quench, until he brings justice to victory; 21 and in his name the Gentiles will hope.” (Yşa 11:10; Yşa 42:4; Rom 15:12) 



22 Then a demon-oppressed man who was blind and mute was brought to him, and he healed him, so that the man spoke and saw. (Mat 9:32; Luk 11:14) 23 And all the people were amazed, and said, “Can this be the Son of David?” (Mat 9:27; Yu 4:29; Yu 7:26; Yu 7:31) 24 But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, “It is only by Beelzebul, the prince of demons, that this man casts out demons.” (Mat 10:25; Mar 3:22) 25 Knowing their thoughts, he said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste, and no city or house divided against itself will stand. (Mat 9:4; Mar 3:23; Luk 11:17) 26 And if Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand? 27 And if I cast out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore they will be your judges. (2 Kr 2:7; Elç 19:13) 28 But if it is by the Spirit of God that I cast out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. (Mat 12:18; Mat 19:24; Mat 21:31; Mat 21:43; Luk 17:21) 29 Or how can someone enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? Then indeed he may plunder his house. (Yşa 49:24; Yşa 53:12) 30 Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters. (Mar 9:40; Luk 9:50; Luk 11:23) 31 Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven people, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. (Mar 3:28; Luk 12:10; Elç 7:51; İbr 6:4; İbr 10:26; İbr 10:29; 1 Yu 5:16) 32 And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come. (Mat 11:19; Mat 12:31; Yu 7:12; Yu 9:24; Ef 1:21; 1 Ti 1:12) 



33 “Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or make the tree bad and its fruit bad, for the tree is known by its fruit. (Mat 7:16; Luk 6:43) 34 You brood of vipers! How can you speak good, when you are evil? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. (Mat 3:7; Mat 7:11; Mat 13:52; Mat 15:18; Mat 23:33; Luk 6:45; Ef 4:29) 35 The good person out of his good treasure brings forth good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure brings forth evil. (Mat 12:34) 36 I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak, (Vai 12:14; Elç 17:31; Rom 14:12; Ef 5:4; Ef 5:11; 1 Pe 4:5; 2 Pe 1:8) 37 for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” (Mat 5:22; Yak 3:2) 



38 Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answered him, saying, “Teacher, we wish to see a sign from you.” (Mat 16:1; Mar 8:11; Luk 11:16; Luk 23:8; Yu 2:18; Yu 4:48; Yu 6:30; 1 Ko 1:22) 39 But he answered them, “An evil and adulterous generation seeks for a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. (Yşa 57:3; Mat 16:4; Mar 8:11; Mar 8:38; Luk 11:29; Yak 4:4) 40 For just as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. (Yun 1:17; Mat 17:22) 41 The men of Nineveh will rise up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and behold, something greater than Jonah is here. (Yer 3:11; Hez 16:51; Yun 1:2; Yun 3:5; Mat 12:6; Rom 2:27; İbr 11:7) 42 The queen of the South will rise up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and behold, something greater than Solomon is here. (1 Kr 10:1; 2 Ta 9:1; Mat 12:41) 



43 “When the unclean spirit has gone out of a person, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, but finds none. (Mez 63:1; Yer 2:6; Luk 11:24) 44 Then it says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when it comes, it finds the house empty, swept, and put in order. 45 Then it goes and brings with it seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they enter and dwell there, and the last state of that person is worse than the first. So also will it be with this evil generation.” (Mat 12:39; Yu 5:14; 2 Pe 2:20) 



46 While he was still speaking to the people, behold, his mother and his brothers[1] stood outside, asking to speak to him.[2] (Mat 13:55; Mar 3:31; Mar 6:3; Luk 8:19; Yu 2:12; Yu 7:3; Yu 7:5; Yu 7:10; Elç 1:14; 1 Ko 9:5; Gal 1:19) 48 But he replied to the man who told him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” 49 And stretching out his hand toward his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers! 50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.” (Mat 7:21; Luk 11:28; Yu 15:14; İbr 2:11)
