1 İsa yine havraya girdi. Orada eli sakat bir adam vardı. (Mat 9:1; Luk 5:17) 2 Bazıları İsa'yı suçlamak amacıyla, Şabat Günü hastayı iyileştirecek mi diye O'nu gözlüyorlardı. 3 İsa, eli sakat adama, ‹‹Kalk, öne çık!›› dedi. 4 Sonra havradakilere, ‹‹Kutsal Yasa'ya göre Şabat Günü iyilik yapmak mı doğru, kötülük yapmak mı? Can kurtarmak mı doğru, can almak mı?›› diye sordu. Onlardan ses çıkmadı. 5 İsa, çevresindekilere öfkeyle baktı. Yüreklerinin duygusuzluğu O'nu kederlendirmişti. Adama, ‹‹Elini uzat!›› dedi. Adam elini uzattı, eli yine sapasağlam oluverdi. 6 Bunun üzerine Ferisiler dışarı çıktılar, İsa'yı yok etmek için Hirodes yanlılarıyla hemen görüşmeye başladılar. 



7-8 İsa, öğrencileriyle birlikte göl kıyısına çekildi. Celile'den büyük bir kalabalık O'nun ardından geldi. Ayrıca, bütün yaptıklarını duyan büyük kalabalıklar Yahudiye'den, Yeruşalim'den, İdumeya'dan, Şeria Irmağı'nın karşı yakasından, Sur ve Sayda bölgelerinden kendisine akın etti. 9 İsa, kalabalığın arasında sıkışıp kalmamak için öğrencilerine bir kayık hazır bulundurmalarını söyledi. 10 Birçoklarını iyileştirmiş olduğundan, çeşitli hastalıklara yakalananlar O'na dokunmak için üzerine üşüşüyordu. 11 Kötü ruhlar O'nu görünce ayaklarına kapanıyor, ‹‹Sen Tanrı'nın Oğlu'sun!›› diye bağırıyorlardı. 12 Ama İsa, kim olduğunu açıklamamaları için onları sıkı sıkıya uyardı. 



13 İsa, dağa çıkarak istediği kişileri yanına çağırdı. Onlar da yanına gittiler. (Mat 10:1; Luk 6:12) 14-19 İsa bunlardan on iki kişiyi yanında bulundurmak, Tanrı sözünü duyurmaya göndermek ve cinleri kovmaya yetkili kılmak üzere seçti. Seçtiği bu on iki kişi şunlardır: Petrus adını verdiği Simun, Beni-Regeş, yani Gökgürültüsü Oğulları adını verdiği Zebedi'nin oğulları Yakup ve Yuhanna, Andreas, Filipus, Bartalmay, Matta, Tomas, Alfay oğlu Yakup, Taday, Yurtsever Simun ve İsa'ya ihanet eden Yahuda İskariot. 



20 İsa bundan sonra eve gitti. Yine öyle büyük bir kalabalık toplandı ki, İsa'yla öğrencileri yemek bile yiyemediler. (Mat 12:22; Luk 11:14) 21 Yakınları bunu duyunca, ‹‹Aklını kaçırmış›› diyerek O'nu almaya geldiler. 22 Yeruşalim'den gelen din bilginleri ise, ‹‹Baalzevul O'nun içine girmiş›› ve ‹‹Cinleri, cinlerin önderinin gücüyle kovuyor›› diyorlardı. 23 Bunun üzerine İsa din bilginlerini yanına çağırıp onlara benzetmelerle seslendi. ‹‹Şeytan, Şeytan'ı nasıl kovabilir?›› dedi. 24 ‹‹Bir ülke kendi içinde bölünmüşse, ayakta kalamaz. 25 Bir ev kendi içinde bölünmüşse, ayakta kalamaz. 26 Şeytan da kendine karşı gelip kendi içinde bölünmüşse, artık ayakta kalamaz; sonu gelmiş demektir. 27 Hiç kimse güçlü adamın evine girip malını çalamaz. Ancak onu bağladıktan sonra evini soyabilir. 28-29 Size doğrusunu söyleyeyim, insanların işlediği her günah, ettiği her küfür bağışlanacak, ama Kutsal Ruh'a küfreden asla bağışlanmayacak. Bunu yapan, asla silinmeyecek bir günah işlemiş olur.›› 30 İsa bu sözleri, ‹‹O'nda kötü ruh var›› dedikleri için söyledi. 



31 Daha sonra İsa'nın annesiyle kardeşleri geldi. Dışarıda durdular, haber gönderip O'nu çağırdılar. (Mat 12:46; Luk 8:19) 32 İsa'nın çevresinde oturan kalabalıktan bazıları, ‹‹Bak›› dediler, ‹‹Annenle kardeşlerin dışarıda, seni istiyorlar.›› 33 İsa buna karşılık onlara, ‹‹Kimdir annem ve kardeşlerim?›› dedi. 34 Sonra çevresinde oturanlara bakıp şöyle dedi: ‹‹İşte annem, işte kardeşlerim! (Mat 12:9; Luk 6:6) 35 Tanrı'nın isteğini kim yerine getirirse, kardeşim, kızkardeşim ve annem odur.››

1 Again he entered the synagogue, and a man was there with a withered hand. (Mat 12:9; Mar 1:29; Luk 6:6) 2 And they watched Jesus,[1] to see whether he would heal him on the Sabbath, so that they might accuse him. (Luk 11:54; Luk 14:1; Luk 20:20; Yu 8:6) 3 And he said to the man with the withered hand, “Come here.” 4 And he said to them, “Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do harm, to save life or to kill?” But they were silent. (Luk 14:3) 5 And he looked around at them with anger, grieved at their hardness of heart, and said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out, and his hand was restored. (1 Kr 13:4; Mar 3:34; Mar 5:32; Mar 6:52; Mar 10:21; Mar 10:23; Rom 11:25; Ef 4:18) 6 The Pharisees went out and immediately held counsel with the Herodians against him, how to destroy him. (Mat 12:14; Mat 22:16; Mar 8:15; Mar 12:13) 



7 Jesus withdrew with his disciples to the sea, and a great crowd followed, from Galilee and Judea (Mat 4:25; Mat 12:15; Luk 6:17) 8 and Jerusalem and Idumea and from beyond the Jordan and from around Tyre and Sidon. When the great crowd heard all that he was doing, they came to him. (Yşa 34:5; Hez 35:15; Mat 11:21) 9 And he told his disciples to have a boat ready for him because of the crowd, lest they crush him, (Mar 5:24; Mar 5:31; Mar 6:32; Mar 6:45; Mar 8:10) 10 for he had healed many, so that all who had diseases pressed around him to touch him. (Mat 4:23; Mat 9:20; Mat 14:36; Mar 5:29; Mar 5:34; Mar 6:56; Luk 6:19) 11 And whenever the unclean spirits saw him, they fell down before him and cried out, “You are the Son of God.” (Mat 14:33; Mar 1:26; Mar 1:34; Luk 4:41; Luk 8:28) 12 And he strictly ordered them not to make him known. (Mat 12:16) 



13 And he went up on the mountain and called to him those whom he desired, and they came to him. (Mat 10:1; Mar 6:7; Luk 6:12; Luk 9:1; Yu 13:18; Yu 15:16; Yu 15:19) 14 And he appointed twelve (whom he also named apostles) so that they might be with him and he might send them out to preach (Mar 3:13) 15 and have authority to cast out demons. (Mar 3:13) 16 He appointed the twelve: Simon (to whom he gave the name Peter); (Mat 10:2; Mat 16:18; Luk 6:14; Yu 1:42; Elç 1:13) 17 James the son of Zebedee and John the brother of James (to whom he gave the name Boanerges, that is, Sons of Thunder); (Mat 4:21) 18 Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Zealot,[2] (Mat 9:9) 19 and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him. 20 Then he went home, and the crowd gathered again, so that they could not even eat. (Mar 6:31; Mar 7:17; Mar 9:28) 21 And when his family heard it, they went out to seize him, for they were saying, “He is out of his mind.” (Mar 3:31; Yu 7:5; Yu 10:20; Elç 26:24; 2 Ko 5:13) 



22 And the scribes who came down from Jerusalem were saying, “He is possessed by Beelzebul,” and “by the prince of demons he casts out the demons.” (Mat 9:34; Mat 10:25; Mat 12:24; Mat 15:1; Mar 7:1; Luk 11:15; Yu 7:20) 23 And he called them to him and said to them in parables, “How can Satan cast out Satan? (Mat 12:25; Luk 11:17) 24 If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. 25 And if a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand. 26 And if Satan has risen up against himself and is divided, he cannot stand, but is coming to an end. 27 But no one can enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man. Then indeed he may plunder his house. (Yşa 49:24; Yşa 53:12) 28 “Truly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the children of man, and whatever blasphemies they utter, (Mat 12:31; Luk 12:10; İbr 6:4; İbr 10:26; 1 Yu 5:16) 29 but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin”— (Elç 7:51; İbr 10:29) 30 for they were saying, “He has an unclean spirit.” 



31 And his mother and his brothers came, and standing outside they sent to him and called him. (Mat 12:46; Mat 13:55; Mar 6:3; Luk 8:19; Yu 2:12; Yu 7:3; Yu 7:5; Yu 7:10; Elç 1:14; 1 Ko 9:5; Gal 1:19) 32 And a crowd was sitting around him, and they said to him, “Your mother and your brothers[3] are outside, seeking you.” 33 And he answered them, “Who are my mother and my brothers?” 34 And looking about at those who sat around him, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers! (Mar 3:5) 35 For whoever does the will of God, he is my brother and sister and mother.” (Mat 7:21; Luk 11:28; Yu 15:14; İbr 2:11)
