Der Herr offenbart sich Samuel

1 Und der Knabe Samuel diente dem HERRN vor Eli. Zu jener Zeit war das Wort des HERRN selten; es brach sich keine Offenbarung Bahn. (1Sam 2,11; 1Sam 2,18; 1Sam 3,21; Ps 74,9; Am 8,11)

2 Und es geschah eines Tages, dass Eli an seinem Schlafplatz lag; seine Augen hatten angefangen, schwach zu werden, sodass er nicht mehr sehen konnte. (1Mo 27,1; 1Sam 4,15) 3 Aber die Lampe Gottes war noch nicht erloschen; und Samuel schlief im Tempel des HERRN, wo die Lade Gottes war. (2Mo 27,20; Ps 91,1) 4 Und der HERR rief den Samuel. Er aber antwortete: Hier bin ich! (1Mo 22,1; 2Mo 3,4; Jes 6,8; Jes 45,4)

5 Und er lief zu Eli und sprach: Hier bin ich, denn du hast mich gerufen! Er aber sprach: Ich habe nicht gerufen; leg dich wieder schlafen! Und er ging hin und legte sich schlafen. (Apg 9,4; Gal 1,15) 6 Da rief der HERR wiederum: Samuel! Und Samuel stand auf und ging zu Eli und sprach: Hier bin ich; denn du hast mich gerufen! Er aber sprach: Ich habe nicht gerufen, mein Sohn; leg dich wieder schlafen! (1Mo 43,29; 1Sam 4,16; Mt 9,2) 7 Samuel aber kannte den HERRN noch nicht, und das Wort des HERRN war ihm noch nicht geoffenbart. (1Sam 2,12; Apg 19,2) 8 Da rief der HERR den Samuel wieder, zum dritten Mal. Und er stand auf und ging zu Eli und sprach: Hier bin ich, denn du hast mich gerufen! Da erkannte Eli, dass der HERR den Knaben rief; (Hi 33,14; 1Kor 13,11) 9 und Eli sprach zu Samuel: Geh wieder hin und leg dich schlafen; und wenn Er dich rufen wird, so sprich: Rede, HERR, denn dein Knecht hört! Und Samuel ging hin und legte sich an seinen Ort. (1Sam 3,10) 10 Da kam der HERR und trat herzu und rief wie zuvor: Samuel! Samuel! Und Samuel sprach: Rede, denn dein Knecht hört! 11 Und der HERR sprach zu Samuel: Siehe, ich will eine Sache in Israel tun, dass jedem, der es hören wird, beide Ohren gellen werden. (2Kön 21,12; Jer 19,3) 12 An jenem Tag will ich an Eli alles in Erfüllung gehen lassen, was ich gegen sein Haus geredet habe; ich will es anfangen und vollenden! (4Mo 23,19; Jos 23,15; 1Sam 4,10) 13 Denn ich habe ihm gesagt, dass ich sein Haus auf ewig richten werde wegen der Sünde, von der er wusste; weil seine Söhne sich den Fluch zugezogen haben, und er hat ihnen nicht gewehrt. 14 Und darum habe ich dem Haus Elis geschworen, dass die Schuld des Hauses Elis ewiglich nicht gesühnt werden soll, weder durch Schlachtopfer noch durch Speisopfer! (4Mo 15,31; Jes 22,14; Jer 7,16; Hebr 10,26)

15 Und Samuel blieb liegen bis zum Morgen; dann öffnete er die Türen am Haus des HERRN. Aber Samuel fürchtete sich, Eli die Offenbarung mitzuteilen. (Ri 6,27; Jer 1,6; Mal 1,10; 1Kor 16,10)

16 Da rief Eli den Samuel und sprach: Samuel, mein Sohn! Und er antwortete: Hier bin ich! (1Sam 3,4) 17 Und er sprach: Wie lautet das Wort, das Er zu dir geredet hat? Verbirg es doch nicht vor mir! Gott tue dir dies und füge das hinzu, wenn du mir etwas verbirgst von allem, was er zu dir geredet hat! (Rut 1,17; 1Sam 20,13) 18 Da sagte ihm Samuel alle Worte und verbarg nichts vor ihm. Er aber sprach: Er ist der HERR; er tue, was ihm wohlgefällt! (2Sam 15,26; Jes 39,8; Mi 7,9) 19 Samuel aber wuchs heran, und der HERR war mit ihm und ließ keines von allen seinen Worten auf die Erde fallen. 20 Und ganz Israel von Dan bis Beerscheba erkannte, dass Samuel als ein Prophet des HERRN bestätigt war. (1Mo 26,28; 5Mo 18,21; Ri 20,1; 1Sam 1,23; 1Kön 8,20)

21 Und der HERR erschien weiterhin in Silo; denn der HERR offenbarte sich dem Samuel in Silo durch das Wort des HERRN. (1Mo 35,9; 2Mo 6,3; 4Mo 12,6; 1Kön 9,2; Hebr 1,1)

1 And the child Samuel ministered unto the LORD before Eli. And the word of the LORD was precious in those days; there was no open vision. 2 And it came to pass at that time, when Eli was laid down in his place, and his eyes began to wax dim, that he could not see; 3 And ere the lamp of God went out in the temple of the LORD, where the ark of God was , and Samuel was laid down to sleep ; 4 That the LORD called Samuel: and he answered, Here am I. 5 And he ran unto Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou calledst me. And he said, I called not; lie down again. And he went and lay down. 6 And the LORD called yet again, Samuel. And Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And he answered, I called not, my son; lie down again. 7 Now Samuel did not yet know the LORD, neither was the word of the LORD yet revealed unto him. 8 And the LORD called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And Eli perceived that the LORD had called the child. 9 Therefore Eli said unto Samuel, Go, lie down: and it shall be, if he call thee, that thou shalt say, Speak, LORD; for thy servant heareth. So Samuel went and lay down in his place. 10 And the LORD came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth. 11 And the LORD said to Samuel, Behold, I will do a thing in Israel, at which both the ears of every one that heareth it shall tingle. 12 In that day I will perform against Eli all things which I have spoken concerning his house: when I begin, I will also make an end. 13 For I have told him that I will judge his house for ever for the iniquity which he knoweth; because his sons made themselves vile, and he restrained them not. 14 And therefore I have sworn unto the house of Eli, that the iniquity of Eli' house shall not be purged with sacrifice nor offering for ever. 15 And Samuel lay until the morning, and opened the doors of the house of the LORD. And Samuel feared to shew Eli the vision. 16 Then Eli called Samuel, and said, Samuel, my son. And he answered, Here am I. 17 And he said, What is the thing that the LORD hath said unto thee? I pray thee hide it not from me: God do so to thee, and more also, if thou hide any thing from me of all the things that he said unto thee. 18 And Samuel told him every whit, and hid nothing from him. And he said, It is the LORD: let him do what seemeth him good. 19 And Samuel grew, and the LORD was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground. 20 And all Israel from Dan even to Beersheba knew that Samuel was established to be a prophet of the LORD. 21 And the LORD appeared again in Shiloh: for the LORD revealed himself to Samuel in Shiloh by the word of the LORD.
