1– Dice el necio en su corazón: «No hay Dios». Están corrompidos, sus obras son detestables; ¡no hay uno solo que haga lo bueno! (Ps 14,1)2Desde el cielo Dios contempla a los mortales, para ver si hay alguien que sea sensato y busque a Dios.3Pero todos se han descarriado, a una se han corrompido. No hay nadie que haga lo bueno; ¡no hay uno solo!4¿Acaso no entienden todos los que hacen lo malo, los que devoran a mi pueblo como si fuera pan? ¡Jamás invocan a Dios!5Allí los tenéis, sobrecogidos de miedo, cuando no hay nada que temer. Dios dispersó los huesos de quienes te atacaban; tú los avergonzaste, porque Dios los rechazó.6¡Quiera Dios que de Sión venga la salvación para Israel! Cuando Dios restaure a su pueblo,[1] se regocijará Jacob; se alegrará todo Israel.

There Is None Who Does Good
1To the choirmaster: according to Mahalath. A Maskil[1] of David. The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, doing abominable iniquity; there is none who does good. (Ps 14,1; Ps 88,1)2God looks down from heaven on the children of man to see if there are any who understand,[2] who seek after God.3They have all fallen away; together they have become corrupt; there is none who does good, not even one.4Have those who work evil no knowledge, who eat up my people as they eat bread, and do not call upon God?5There they are, in great terror, where there is no terror! For God scatters the bones of him who encamps against you; you put them to shame, for God has rejected them. (3Mo 26,17; 3Mo 26,36; Ps 89,10; Ps 141,7; Spr 28,1; Jer 8,1; Hes 6,5)6Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion! When God restores the fortunes of his people, let Jacob rejoice, let Israel be glad.
