Salmo de David, cuando fingió estar demente ante Abimélec, por lo cual este lo arrojó de su presencia.

1 Bendeciré al SEÑOR en todo tiempo; mis labios siempre lo alabarán. 

2 Mi alma se gloría en el SEÑOR; lo oirán los humildes y se alegrarán. 

3 Engrandeced al SEÑOR conmigo; exaltemos a una su nombre. 

4 Busqué al SEÑOR, y él me respondió; me libró de todos mis temores. 

5 Radiantes están los que a él acuden; jamás su rostro se cubre de vergüenza. 

6 Este pobre clamó, y el SEÑOR lo oyó y lo libró de todas sus angustias. 

7 El ángel del SEÑOR acampa en torno a los que lo temen; a su lado está para librarlos. 

8 Probad y ved que el SEÑOR es bueno; dichosos los que en él se refugian. 

9 Temed al SEÑOR, vosotros sus santos, pues nada les falta a los que le temen. 

10 Los leoncillos se debilitan y tienen hambre, pero a los que buscan al SEÑOR nada les falta. 

11 Venid, hijos míos, y escuchadme, que voy a enseñaros el temor del SEÑOR. 

12 El que quiera amar la vida y gozar de días felices, 

13 que refrene su lengua de hablar el mal y sus labios de proferir engaños; 

14 que se aparte del mal y haga el bien; que busque la paz y la siga. 

15 Los ojos del SEÑOR están sobre los justos, y sus oídos, atentos a sus oraciones; 

16 el rostro del SEÑOR está contra los que hacen el mal, para borrar de la tierra su memoria. 

17 Los justos claman, y el SEÑOR los oye; los libra de todas sus angustias. 

18 El SEÑOR está cerca de los quebrantados de corazón, y salva a los de espíritu abatido. 

19 Muchas son las angustias del justo, pero el SEÑOR lo librará de todas ellas; 

20 le protegerá todos los huesos, y ni uno solo le quebrarán. 

21 La maldad destruye a los malvados; serán condenados los enemigos de los justos. 

22 El SEÑOR libra a sus siervos; no serán condenados los que en él confían.

Taste and See That the Lord Is Good

1  Of David, when he changed his behavior before Abimelech, so that he drove him out, and he went away. I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth. (1 S 21:10; 1 S 21:12; 1 S 21:13; 1 S 21:14; Ef 5:20; 1 Ts 5:18) 

2 My soul makes its boast in the Lord; let the humble hear and be glad. (1 S 2:1; Sal 44:8; Sal 119:74; Jer 9:24) 

3 Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together! (Sal 35:27; Sal 40:16; Sal 69:30; Sal 70:4; Lc 1:46) 

4 I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears. (2 Cr 15:2; Mt 7:7) 

5 Those who look to him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed. (Sal 4:6; Is 60:5) 

6 This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him and saved him out of all his troubles. (2 S 22:1; Sal 34:15; Sal 34:17; Sal 34:19) 

7 The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. (Gn 32:1; 2 R 6:17; Dn 6:22; Heb 1:14)

9 Oh, fear the Lord, you his saints, for those who fear him have no lack! 

10 The young lions suffer want and hunger; but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing. (Job 4:10; Sal 84:11) 

11 Come, O children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord. (Sal 32:8; Sal 66:16) 

12 What man is there who desires life and loves many days, that he may see good? (Ec 3:13; Ec 6:6; 1 P 3:10)

16 The face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth. (Sal 21:10; Jer 44:11; Am 9:4) 

17 When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. (Sal 34:15) 

18 The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. (Sal 51:17; Sal 147:3; Is 57:15; Is 61:1; Is 66:2; Lc 15:17) 

19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. (Sal 34:6; Sal 34:17; Sal 34:22; Hch 12:11; 2 Ti 3:11) 

20 He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken. (Jn 19:36) 

21 Affliction will slay the wicked, and those who hate the righteous will be condemned. (Sal 7:15; Sal 94:23; Pr 24:16) 

22 The Lord redeems the life of his servants; none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned. (Sal 25:22; Ro 8:33)
