Psalm 33

Nueva Versión Internacional (Castellano)

1 Cantad al SEÑOR con alegría, vosotros los justos; es propio de los íntegros alabar al SEÑOR. 

2 Alabad al SEÑOR al son del arpa; entonad alabanzas con el decacordio. 

3 Cantadle una canción nueva; tocad con destreza, y dad voces de alegría. 

4 La palabra del SEÑOR es justa; fieles son todas sus obras. 

5 El SEÑOR ama la justicia y el derecho; llena está la tierra de su amor. 

6 Por la palabra del SEÑOR fueron creados los cielos, y por el soplo de su boca, las estrellas. 

7 Él recoge en un cántaro el agua de los mares, y junta en vasijas los océanos. 

8 Tema toda la tierra al SEÑOR; hónrenlo todos los pueblos del mundo; 

9 porque él habló, y todo fue creado; dio una orden, y todo quedó firme. 

10 El SEÑOR frustra los planes de las naciones; desbarata los designios de los pueblos. 

11 Pero los planes del SEÑOR permanecen firmes para siempre; los designios de su mente son eternos. 

12 Dichosa la nación cuyo Dios es el SEÑOR, el pueblo que escogió por su heredad. 

13 El SEÑOR observa desde el cielo y ve a toda la humanidad; 

14 él contempla desde su trono a todos los habitantes de la tierra. 

15 Él es quien formó el corazón de todos, y quien conoce a fondo todas sus acciones. 

16 No se salva el rey por sus muchos soldados, ni por su mucha fuerza se libra el valiente. 

17 Vana esperanza de victoria es el caballo; a pesar de su mucha fuerza, no puede salvar. 

18 Pero el SEÑOR cuida de los que le temen, de los que esperan en su gran amor; 

19 él los libra de la muerte, y en épocas de hambre los mantiene con vida. 

20 Esperamos confiados en el SEÑOR; él es nuestro socorro y nuestro escudo. 

21 En él se regocija nuestro corazón, porque confiamos en su santo nombre. 

22 Que tu gran amor, SEÑOR, nos acompañe, tal como esperamos de ti.

The Steadfast Love of the Lord

1 Shout for joy in the Lord, O you righteous! Praise befits the upright. (Ps 32,11; Ps 147,1) 

2 Give thanks to the Lord with the lyre; make melody to him with the harp of ten strings! (Ps 71,22; Ps 144,9) 

3 Sing to him a new song; play skillfully on the strings, with loud shouts. (Ps 40,3; Ps 96,1; Jes 42,10) 

4 For the word of the Lord is upright, and all his work is done in faithfulness. (Ps 119,75) 

5 He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the steadfast love of the Lord. (Ps 11,7; Ps 36,5; Ps 45,7; Ps 89,14; Ps 119,64) 

6 By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, and by the breath of his mouth all their host. (1Mo 1,6; 1Mo 2,1; Hi 26,13; Jes 11,4; Joh 1,3; Hebr 11,3; 2Petr 3,5) 

7 He gathers the waters of the sea as a heap; he puts the deeps in storehouses. (2Mo 15,8; Jos 3,13; Jos 3,16; Hi 38,8; Ps 78,13) 

8 Let all the earth fear the Lord; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him!

11 The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of his heart to all generations. (Spr 19,21; Jes 46,10)

13 The Lord looks down from heaven; he sees all the children of man; (Hi 28,24; Ps 11,4)

15 he who fashions the hearts of them all and observes all their deeds. 

16 The king is not saved by his great army; a warrior is not delivered by his great strength. (Ps 44,6) 

17 The war horse is a false hope for salvation, and by its great might it cannot rescue. (Ps 20,7; Ps 147,10; Spr 21,31; Hos 1,7) 

18 Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his steadfast love, (Hi 36,7; Ps 34,15; Ps 147,11; 1Petr 3,12) 

19 that he may deliver their soul from death and keep them alive in famine. (Hi 5,20; Ps 37,19; Apg 12,11) 

20 Our soul waits for the Lord; he is our help and our shield. (Ps 3,3; Ps 62,1; Ps 62,5; Ps 115,9; Ps 130,6; Jes 8,17) 

21 For our heart is glad in him, because we trust in his holy name. (Ps 9,14; Ps 11,1; Sach 10,7)
