Cántico de los peregrinos.

1 A ti, SEÑOR, elevo mi clamor desde las profundidades del abismo. 

2 Escucha, Señor, mi voz. Estén atentos tus oídos a mi voz suplicante. 

3 Si tú, SEÑOR, tuvieras en cuenta los pecados, ¿quién, Señor, sería declarado inocente? 

4 Pero en ti se halla perdón, y por eso debes ser temido. 

5 Espero al SEÑOR, lo espero con toda el alma; en su palabra he puesto mi esperanza. 

6 Espero al Señor con toda el alma, más que los centinelas la mañana. Como esperan los centinelas la mañana, 

7 así tú, Israel, espera al SEÑOR. Porque en él hay amor inagotable; en él hay plena redención. 

8 Él mismo redimirá a Israel de todos sus pecados.

My Soul Waits for the Lord

1 A Song of Ascents. Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord! (Ps 69,2; Ps 69,14; Ps 120,1; Kla 3,55; Jon 2,2) 

2 O Lord, hear my voice! Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my pleas for mercy! (2Chr 6,40; Ps 86,6; Ps 140,6) 

3 If you, O Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? (Hi 10,14; Ps 76,7; Ps 90,8; Ps 143,2; Am 2,15; Nah 1,6; Mal 3,2; Eph 6,13; Offb 6,17) 

4 But with you there is forgiveness, that you may be feared. (1Kön 8,39; Ps 86,5; Ps 86,15; Ps 130,7; Jes 55,7; Jer 33,8; Dan 9,9; Röm 2,4)
