Cántico de los peregrinos.

1 En mi angustia invoqué al SEÑOR, y él me respondió. 2 SEÑOR, líbrame de los labios mentirosos y de las lenguas embusteras. 3 ¡Ah, lengua embustera! ¿Qué se te habrá de dar? ¿Qué se te habrá de añadir? 4 ¡Puntiagudas flechas de guerrero, con ardientes brasas de retama! 5 ¡Ay de mí, que soy extranjero en Mésec, que he acampado entre las tiendas de Cedar! 6 ¡Ya es mucho el tiempo que he acampado entre los que aborrecen la paz! 7 Yo amo la paz, pero, si hablo de paz, ellos hablan de guerra.

Deliver Me, O Lord

1 A Song of Ascents. In my distress I called to the Lord, and he answered me. (2Mo 34,24; 1Kön 12,27; Jes 30,29) 2 Deliver me, O Lord, from lying lips, from a deceitful tongue. 3 What shall be given to you, and what more shall be done to you, you deceitful tongue? (1Sam 3,17) 4 A warrior’s sharp arrows, with glowing coals of the broom tree! (Ps 45,5; Ps 127,4; Ps 140,10; Spr 25,22; Jer 50,9)
