The Light of the Gospel
1Therefore, having this ministry by the mercy of God,[1] we do not lose heart. (1Kor 7,25; 2Kor 3,6; 1Tim 1,13)2But we have renounced disgraceful, underhanded ways. We refuse to practice[2] cunning or to tamper with God’s word, but by the open statement of the truth we would commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God. (Röm 6,21; 2Kor 2,17; 2Kor 5,11; 2Kor 6,7; 2Kor 7,14)3And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing.
