1Наконец, братья, радуйтесь в Господе! Мне не трудно писать об этом еще и еще раз, потому что для вас это будет надежней.2Берегитесь псов, берегитесь людей, делающих зло, берегитесь«членовредителей»[1].3Истинно обрезанные – это мы с вами, поклоняющиеся под руководством Духа Божьего, хвалящиеся Иисусом Христом и не полагающиеся на внешнее,4хотя я и могу полагаться на это. Если у кого-то и есть основания полагаться на внешнее, то тем более у меня.5Я был обрезан на восьмой день от рождения, происхожу из израильского народа, из рода Вениамина. Я чистокровный еврей[2], и по отношению к Закону – фарисей.6Я ревностно преследовал Церковь, и с точки зрения законнической праведности – беспорочен.7Но все, что я считал приобретением тогда, сейчас ради Христа считаю потерей.8И не только это, но и все прочее я считаю потерей в сравнении с бесценным познанием моего Господа Иисуса Христа. Righteousness Through Faith in Christ
1Finally, my brothers,[1] rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you is no trouble to me and is safe for you. (Phil 4,4; 1Thess 5,16; 2Petr 1,12)2Look out for the dogs, look out for the evildoers, look out for those who mutilate the flesh. (Ps 22,16; Ps 22,20; Jes 56,10; 2Kor 11,13; Gal 5,15; Offb 22,15)3For we are the circumcision, who worship by the Spirit of God[2] and glory in Christ Jesus and put no confidence in the flesh— (Joh 4,23; Röm 2,29; Röm 15,17; Gal 5,25; Gal 6,14; Jud 1,20)4though I myself have reason for confidence in the flesh also. If anyone else thinks he has reason for confidence in the flesh, I have more: (2Kor 11,18)5circumcised on the eighth day, of the people of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; as to the law, a Pharisee; (1Mo 17,12; Apg 23,6; Apg 26,5; Röm 11,1; 2Kor 11,22)6as to zeal, a persecutor of the church; as to righteousness under the law,[3] blameless. Straining Toward the Goal
12Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. (1Tim 6,12; 1Tim 6,19; Hebr 5,9; Hebr 11,40; Hebr 12,23)13Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, (Ps 45,10; Lk 9,62; Hebr 6,1)14I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. (Röm 8,28; 1Kor 9,24; Hebr 3,1; 1Petr 5,10)15Let those of us who are mature think this way, and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal that also to you. (Gal 6,16)17Brothers, join in imitating me, and keep your eyes on those who walk according to the example you have in us.
