1 Дирижеру хора. Под гиттит[1]. Псалом Давида. (Ps 80,1; Ps 83,1) 2 Господи, наш Владыка, как величественно имя Твое на всей земле! Слава Твоя превыше небес. 3 Из уст младенцев и грудных детей Ты вызовешь Себе хвалу[2], из-за Твоих врагов, чтобы сделать безмолвными противника и мстителя. 4 Когда я смотрю на Твои небеса, работу Твоих рук, на луну и на звезды, которые Ты поставил, 5 то думаю: «Кто такой человек, что Ты переживаешь о нем? Кто такой сын человеческий, что Ты заботишься о нем?» 6 Ты немногим умалил его перед Богом[3]; Ты увенчал его славой и честью. (Hebr 2,7) 7 Ты поставил его владыкой над делами Своих рук, Ты все подчинил под ноги его: 8 всех овец и волов, а также диких зверей, 9 птиц в небесах и рыбу в морях, все, что наполняет стремнины моря. 10 Господи, наш Владыка, как величественно имя Твое на всей земле!

1 To the choirmaster: according to The Gittith.[1] A Psalm of David. O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens. (2Mo 34,5; Ps 81,1; Ps 84,1; Ps 113,4; Ps 148,13; Jes 12,4) 2 Out of the mouth of babies and infants, you have established strength because of your foes, to still the enemy and the avenger. (Ps 44,16; Jer 16,19; Mt 11,25; Mt 21,16; 1Kor 1,27) 3 When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, (1Mo 1,16; 2Mo 8,19; 2Mo 31,18; Ps 111,2) 4 what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him? (1Mo 8,1; 1Mo 21,1; 1Mo 50,24; Hi 7,17; Hi 25,6; Ps 65,9; Ps 80,17; Ps 144,3; Hebr 2,6) 5 Yet you have made him a little lower than the heavenly beings[2] and crowned him with glory and honor. (1Mo 1,26; Ps 21,5) 6 You have given him dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under his feet, (1Mo 1,26; 1Mo 1,28; Mt 28,18; 1Kor 15,27) 7 all sheep and oxen, and also the beasts of the field, 8 the birds of the heavens, and the fish of the sea, whatever passes along the paths of the seas. 9 O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!
