1 Псалом Давида. К Тебе я взываю, Господи, скала Моя, не будь ко мне равнодушен! Если Ты будешь хранить молчание, я уподоблюсь тем, кто нисходит в пропасть. 2 Услышь голос моих молений, когда я взываю к Тебе о помощи, когда я поднимаю руки к Святому Святых[1] в храме Твоем. (1Kön 6,16) 3 Не губи меня с нечестивыми, с теми, кто творит зло, кто с ближними говорит радушно, а в сердце своем питает ненависть. 4 Воздай им по их делам, по их злым поступкам. Воздай им за то, что их руки сделали, дай им то, что они заслужили. 5 За то, что они безразличны к делам Господним, к тому, что сделали Его руки, Он разрушит их и впредь не восстановит. 6 Благословен Господь, ведь Он услышал голос моих молений. 7 Господь – моя сила и щит; сердце мое на Него надеется. Он мне помог, и сердце мое ликует; песней моей я Его буду славить. 8 Господь – это сила Его народа, крепость спасения для Его помазанника. 9 Спаси Свой народ и удел Свой благослови; будь их Пастырем и веди их вовеки.

1 Of David. The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold[1] of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? (2Mo 15,2; Ps 23,4; Ps 84,11; Ps 118,14; Jes 12,2; Jes 60,20; Jes 62,11; Mi 7,8) 2 When evildoers assail me to eat up my flesh, my adversaries and foes, it is they who stumble and fall. (Ps 14,4) 3 Though an army encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war arise against me, yet[2] I will be confident. (Ps 3,6) 4 One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire[3] in his temple. (Ps 23,6; Ps 26,8; Ps 65,4; Ps 84,1; Ps 90,17; Lk 2,37) 5 For he will hide me in his shelter in the day of trouble; he will conceal me under the cover of his tent; he will lift me high upon a rock. (Hi 5,21; Ps 31,20; Ps 40,2; Ps 91,1; Jes 4,6) 6 And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me, and I will offer in his tent sacrifices with shouts of joy; I will sing and make melody to the Lord. (Ps 30,10) 8 You have said, “Seek[4] my face.” My heart says to you, “Your face, Lord, do I seek.”[5] (Ps 24,6; Ps 105,4) 9 Hide not your face from me. Turn not your servant away in anger, O you who have been my help. Cast me not off; forsake me not, O God of my salvation!
