1Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever! (Пс 100:5; Пс 105:1)2Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he has redeemed from trouble[1] (Пс 106:10; Ис 62:12; Ис 63:4)3and gathered in from the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south. 39:27)4Some wandered in desert wastes, finding no way to a city to dwell in; (Втор 32:10; Пс 107:36; Пс 107:40)5hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted within them. (Пс 77:3)6Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. (Пс 106:44; Пс 107:13; Пс 107:19; Пс 107:28)7He led them by a straight way till they reached a city to dwell in. (Езд 8:21; Пс 107:4)8Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man! (Пс 107:15; Пс 107:21; Пс 107:31)9For he satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul he fills with good things. (Пс 34:10; Пс 146:7; Лк 1:53)10Some sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, prisoners in affliction and in irons, (Иов 10:21; Иов 36:8; Пс 107:14; Ис 42:7; Ис 49:9; Мих 7:8; Лк 1:79)11for they had rebelled against the words of God, and spurned the counsel of the Most High. 7:30)12So he bowed their hearts down with hard labor; they fell down, with none to help. (Пс 22:11)13Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. (Пс 107:6; Пс 107:19; Пс 107:28)14He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and burst their bonds apart. (Пс 2:3; Пс 107:10)15Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man! (Пс 107:8; Пс 107:21; Пс 107:31)16For he shatters the doors of bronze and cuts in two the bars of iron. (Ис 45:2)17Some were fools through their sinful ways, and because of their iniquities suffered affliction; (Прит 1:7; Прит 14:9)18they loathed any kind of food, and they drew near to the gates of death. (Иов 33:20; Иов 33:22; Иов 38:17; Пс 88:3)19Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. (Пс 107:6; Пс 107:13; Пс 107:28)20He sent out his word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction. 8:8)21Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man! (Пс 107:8; Пс 107:15; Пс 107:31)22And let them offer sacrifices of thanksgiving, and tell of his deeds in songs of joy! (Пс 9:11; Пс 50:14; Пс 105:43; Пс 118:17)23Some went down to the sea in ships, doing business on the great waters; (Ис 42:10)24they saw the deeds of the Lord, his wondrous works in the deep.25For he commanded and raised the stormy wind, which lifted up the waves of the sea. (Пс 105:31; Пс 105:34; Пс 148:8; Ион 1:4)26They mounted up to heaven; they went down to the depths; their courage melted away in their evil plight; (Пс 22:14; Пс 119:28)27they reeled and staggered like drunken men and were at their wits’ end.[2] (Иов 12:25; Ис 19:3; Ис 24:20; Ис 29:9)28Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. (Пс 107:6; Пс 107:13; Пс 107:19)29He made the storm be still, and the waves of the sea were hushed. (Пс 65:7)30Then they were glad that the waters[3] were quiet, and he brought them to their desired haven.31Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man! (Пс 107:8; Пс 107:15; Пс 107:21)32Let them extol him in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders. (Пс 22:22; Пс 22:25; Пс 99:5)33He turns rivers into a desert, springs of water into thirsty ground, (Ис 42:15; Ис 50:2)34a fruitful land into a salty waste, because of the evil of its inhabitants. (Быт 13:10; Быт 14:3; Быт 19:24; Втор 29:23)35He turns a desert into pools of water, a parched land into springs of water. 43:19)36And there he lets the hungry dwell, and they establish a city to live in; (Пс 107:4; Пс 107:7)37they sow fields and plant vineyards and get a fruitful yield.38By his blessing they multiply greatly, and he does not let their livestock diminish. (Быт 12:2; Быт 17:20; Исх 1:7)39When they are diminished and brought low through oppression, evil, and sorrow,40he pours contempt on princes and makes them wander in trackless wastes; (Втор 32:10; Иов 12:21; Иов 12:24)41but he raises up the needy out of affliction and makes their families like flocks. (1Цар 2:8; Иов 21:11; Пс 113:7)42The upright see it and are glad, and all wickedness shuts its mouth. (Иов 22:19; Пс 63:11)43Whoever is wise, let him attend to these things; let them consider the steadfast love of the Lord.
