Заклинаю Тебя Богом, не мучь меня! –8потому что Иисус говорил ему: «Выйди, нечистый дух, из этого человека».9Иисус спросил его: – Как тебя зовут? – Меня зовут Легион[1], – ответил тот, – потому что нас много.10И он настойчиво умолял Иисуса не выгонять их из тех мест.11А там у горы в это время паслось большое стадо свиней,12и нечистые духи попросили Иисуса: – Позволь нам войти в этих свиней.13Иисус позволил, и нечистые духи, выйдя из человека, вошли в свиней. Все стадо, около двух тысяч голов, тут же ринулось с обрыва в озеро и утонуло в нем.14А свинопасы побежали и рассказали о случившемся в городе и в окрестностях. Сбежался народ посмотреть, что произошло.15Подойдя к Иисусу, они увидели, что бывший одержимый, в котором был легион демонов, сидит одетый и в здравом уме, и они испугались.16Очевидцы же рассказали им, как все произошло с одержимым и со свиньями.17Тогда местные жители стали просить Иисуса покинуть их края.18Когда Иисус садился в лодку, то человек, который был одержим демонами, стал просить, чтобы Он взял его с Собой,19но Иисус отказал ему. – Ступай домой к своим родным, – сказал Он, – и расскажи им, что сделал для тебя Господь, и какую милость Он к тебе проявил.20Тот пошел и стал рассказывать в Десятиградии о том, что сделал для него Иисус. Он, увидев Иисуса, пал к Его ногам23и стал умолять: – Моя маленькая дочь умирает, приди и возложи на нее руки, чтобы она исцелилась и осталась жива.24Иисус пошел с ним, а за Иисусом следовала большая толпа и теснила Его со всех сторон.25Там была женщина, двенадцать лет страдавшая кровотечением.26Она натерпелась от многих врачей, истратила на лечение все, что у нее было, но не получила никакой помощи, напротив, ей становилось все хуже.27Она слышала об Иисусе, и поэтому она подошла сзади к Нему сквозь толпу и прикоснулась к Его одежде.28«Если я хоть к одежде Его прикоснусь, то исцелюсь», – говорила она себе.29Ее кровотечение сразу же остановилось, и она почувствовала, что исцелена.30А Иисус мгновенно почувствовал, что из Него вышла сила. Jesus Heals a Man with a Demon
1They came to the other side of the sea, to the country of the Gerasenes.[1] (Mt 8,28; Lk 8,26)2And when Jesus[2] had stepped out of the boat, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit.3He lived among the tombs. And no one could bind him anymore, not even with a chain, (Offb 18,2)4for he had often been bound with shackles and chains, but he wrenched the chains apart, and he broke the shackles in pieces. No one had the strength to subdue him.5Night and day among the tombs and on the mountains he was always crying out and cutting himself with stones.6And when he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and fell down before him. (Mt 8,2)7And crying out with a loud voice, he said, “What have you to do with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? 21And when Jesus had crossed again in the boat to the other side, a great crowd gathered about him, and he was beside the sea.22Then came one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name, and seeing him, he fell at his feet (Mt 9,18; Lk 8,41; Lk 13,14; Apg 13,15; Apg 18,8; Apg 18,17)23and implored him earnestly, saying, “My little daughter is at the point of death. Come and lay your hands on her, so that she may be made well and live.” (Mt 9,18; Mk 6,5; Mk 7,32; Mk 8,23; Mk 8,25; Mk 16,18; Lk 4,40; Lk 13,13; Apg 9,12; Apg 9,17; Apg 28,8)24And he went with him. And a great crowd followed him and thronged about him. Why trouble the Teacher any further?” (Mk 5,22; Lk 7,6; Joh 11,28)36But overhearing[5] what they said, Jesus said to the ruler of the synagogue, “Do not fear, only believe.” (Mk 5,35)37And he allowed no one to follow him except Peter and James and John the brother of James. (Mk 3,17; Mk 9,2; Mk 14,33)38They came to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and Jesus[6] saw a commotion, people weeping and wailing loudly.39And when he had entered, he said to them, “Why are you making a commotion and weeping? The child is not dead but sleeping.” (Joh 11,4; Joh 11,11; Apg 20,10)40And they laughed at him. But he put them all outside and took the child’s father and mother and those who were with him and went in where the child was. (Apg 9,40)41Taking her by the hand he said to her, “Talitha cumi,” which means, “Little girl, I say to you, arise.” (Mt 11,5; Mk 1,31; Lk 7,14; Lk 7,22; Joh 11,43)42And immediately the girl got up and began walking (for she was twelve years of age), and they were immediately overcome with amazement.43And he strictly charged them that no one should know this, and told them to give her something to eat.
