Psalm 23

New International Version

A psalm of David.

1 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. 

2 He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, 

3 he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. 

4 Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. 

5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. 

6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

1 Ein Psalm Davids. Der HERR ist mein Hirte; mir wird nichts mangeln. (Ps 28:9; Ps 34:9; Ps 84:12; Eze 34:23; Joh 10:2; Joh 10:11; Joh 10:14; Heb 13:20; 1Pe 2:25) 

2 Er weidet mich auf grünen Auen und führt mich zu stillen Wassern. (Ps 36:9; Ps 78:72; Isa 40:11; Isa 49:10; Eze 34:15; Joh 21:15; 1Pe 5:2) 

3 Er erquickt meine Seele; er führt mich auf rechter Straße um seines Namens willen. (Ps 27:11; Ps 31:4; Ps 115:1; Pr 4:11; Pr 25:13; Isa 40:31; Jer 31:25; Eze 36:22) 

4 Und wenn ich auch wanderte durchs Tal der Todesschatten, so fürchte ich kein Unglück, denn du bist bei mir; dein Stecken und dein Stab, die trösten mich. (Jos 1:5; Job 10:20; Ps 27:1; Ps 138:7; Isa 43:1; Isa 50:10; Jer 17:7; Mt 28:20; Ro 8:31; Ro 8:35; 2Co 1:8; 2Co 4:16)
