1The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it;2for he founded it on the seas and established it on the waters.3Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord? 1زمين و هر آنچه در آنست، از آن خداوند میباشد.2او اساس و بنياد زمين را بر آب درياها قرار داد.3چه كسی میتواند به خانهٔ مقدس خداوند كه بر كوه واقع است راه يابد؟4كسی كه پندار و كردارش پاک باشد و از ناراستی و دروغ بپرهيزد.5خداوند چنين كسی را نجات بخشيده، بركت خواهد داد و او را بیگناه اعلام خواهد نمود.6اينانند كسانی كه هميشه در طلب خدای يعقوب میباشند و مشتاق ديدار او هستند!7ای دروازهها، سرهای خود را بلند كنيد! ای درهای قديمی اورشليم كنار بايستيد، تا پادشاه جلال وارد شود!8اين پادشاه جلال كيست؟ خداوند است! خداوند قادر مطلق؛ خداوند فاتح همهٔ جنگها!9ای دروازهها، سرهای خود را بلند كنيد! ای درهای قديمی اورشليم كنار بايستيد تا پادشاه جلال وارد شود!10اين پادشاه جلال كيست؟ خداوند است! خداوند قادر متعال! آری، اوست پادشاه جلال!
