Psalm 131

New International Version

A song of ascents. Of David.

1 My heart is not proud, Lord, my eyes are not haughty; I do not concern myself with great matters or things too wonderful for me. 

2 But I have calmed and quietened myself, I am like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child I am content. 

3 Israel, put your hope in the Lord both now and for evermore.

1 ای خداوند، من از خودبينی و تكبر دست كشيدهام؛ از آنچه بزرگتر و بلندتر از عقل من است خود را دور نگه داشتهام. 

2 جان مضطرب خود را آرام ساختهام. اينک، دل من، همچون كودكی كه در آغوش مادر آرميده، آرام و بیتشويش است. 

3 ای اسرائيل، بر خداوند اميدوار باش، از حال تا ابد!
