1 يَا رَبُّ لَا تُوَبِّخْنِي فِي إبَّانِ غَضَبِكَ، وَلَا تُؤَدِّبْنِي فِي احْتِدَامِ سَخَطِكَ. 2 ارْحَمْنِي يَا رَبُّ لأَنِّي ضَعِيفٌ. اشْفِنِي يَا رَبُّ لأَنَّ عِظَامِي رَاجِفَةٌ، 3 وَنَفْسِي مُرْتَعِدَةٌ جِدّاً. وَأَنْتَ يَا رَبُّ فَإِلَى مَتَى (تَنْتَظِرُ)؟ 4 ارْجِعْ يَا رَبُّ وَحَرِّرْ نَفْسِي، أَنْقِذْنِي بِفَضْلِ رَحْمَتِكَ. 5 إِذْ لَيْسَ فِي عَالَمِ الْمَوْتِ مَنْ يَذْكُرُكَ، أَوْ فِي مَقَرِّ الأَمْوَاتِ مَنْ يُسَبِّحُكَ. 6 لَقَدْ أَرْهَقَنِي تَنَهُّدِي، فَأُغْرِقُ سَرِيرِي فِي كُلِّ لَيْلَةٍ بِدُمُوعِي وَأُبَلِّلُ بِها فِرَاشِي. 7 وَهَنَتْ عَيْنَايَ مِنْ فَرْطِ الْغَمِّ، وَكَلَّتَا بِسَبَبِ جَمِيعِ خُصُومِي. 8 ابْتَعِدُوا عَنِّي يَا جَمِيعَ فَاعِلِي الإِثْمِ، لأَنَّ الرَّبَّ قَدْ سَمِعَ صَوْتَ بُكَائِي. 9 سَمِعَ الرَّبُّ تَضَرُّعِي. الرَّبُّ يَتَقَبَّلُ صَلاتِي. 10 لِيَخْزَ جَمِيعُ أَعْدَائِي وَيَرْتَاعُوا جِدّاً، وَلْيَتَرَاجَعُوا إِذْ لَحِقَ بِهِمِ الْعَارُ فَجْأَةً.

1 To the choirmaster: with stringed instruments; according to The Sheminith.[1] A Psalm of David. O Lord, rebuke me not in your anger, nor discipline me in your wrath. (1أخ 15:21; مز 38:1; مز 94:12; مز 118:18; أم 3:11; إر 30:11; إر 46:28; عب 12:3) 2 Be gracious to me, O Lord, for I am languishing; heal me, O Lord, for my bones are troubled. (مز 30:2; مز 31:10; مز 41:4; مز 103:3) 3 My soul also is greatly troubled. But you, O Lord—how long? (مز 90:13; يو 12:27) 4 Turn, O Lord, deliver my life; save me for the sake of your steadfast love. 5 For in death there is no remembrance of you; in Sheol who will give you praise? (مز 30:9; مز 88:10; مز 115:17; إش 38:18) 6 I am weary with my moaning; every night I flood my bed with tears; I drench my couch with my weeping. (مز 38:9; مز 69:3) 7 My eye wastes away because of grief; it grows weak because of all my foes. (أي 17:7; مز 31:9; مز 38:10; مز 88:9; مرا 2:11; مرا 5:17) 8 Depart from me, all you workers of evil, for the Lord has heard the sound of my weeping. (مز 3:4; مز 94:4; مز 119:115; مز 139:19; مت 7:23; مت 25:41; لو 13:27) 9 The Lord has heard my plea; the Lord accepts my prayer. (1مل 8:38; مز 55:1) 10 All my enemies shall be ashamed and greatly troubled; they shall turn back and be put to shame in a moment. (مز 40:14; مز 56:9)
