1 يَا رَبُّ إِلَيْكَ أَصْرُخُ، فَلَا تَتَصَامَمْ عَنِّي يَا صَخْرَتِي، لِئَلّا أَكُونَ، إِذَا سَكَتَّ عَنِّي، مِثْلَ الْمُنْحَدِرِينَ إِلَى الْهَاوِيَةِ. 2 اسْتَمِعْ صَوْتَ تَضَرُّعِي عِنْدَمَا أَسْتَغِيثُ بِكَ، رَافِعاً يَدَيَّ نَحْوَ مِحْرَابِ قَدَاسَتِكَ. 3 لَا تَطْرَحْنِي مَعَ الأَشْرَارِ وَفَاعِلِي الإِثْمِ، الَّذِينَ يُظْهِرُونَ الْوُدَّ لأَصْحَابِهِمْ، وَهُمْ يَكُنُّونَ لَهُمُ الشَّرَّ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ. 4 جَازِهِمْ وَفْقاً لِفِعْلِهِمْ وَشَرِّ أَعْمَالِهِمْ. أَعْطِهِمْ مَا يَسْتَحِقُّ صَنِيعُ أَيْدِيهِمْ، وَرُدَّ عَلَيْهِمْ جَزَاءَهُمْ. 5 وَلأَنَّهُمْ لَا يُبَالُونَ بِأَفْعَالِ الرَّبِّ وَلَا بِصَنِيعِ يَدَيْهِ، فَإِنَّهُ يُدَمِّرُهُمْ وَلَا يُعِيدُ بِنَاءَهُمْ. 6 مُبَارَكٌ الرَّبُّ فَقَدْ سَمِعَ صَوْتَ تَضَرُّعِي. 7 الرَّبُّ قُوَّتِي وَتُرْسِي. عَلَيْهِ اتَّكَلَ قَلْبِي، فَنِلْتُ الْغَوْثَ. لِذَلِكَ يَبْتَهِجُ قَلْبِي وَأَحْمَدُهُ بِنَشِيدِي. 8 الرَّبُّ قُوَّةُ شَعْبِهِ، وَهُوَ حِصْنُ خَلاصِ مَسِيحِهِ. 9 خَلِّصْ يَا رَبُّ شَعْبَكَ وَبَارِكْ مِيرَاثَكَ. كُنْ رَاعِياً لَهُمْ وَاحْمِلْهُمْ إِلَى الأَبَدِ.

1 Of David. To you, O Lord, I call; my rock, be not deaf to me, lest, if you be silent to me, I become like those who go down to the pit. (مز 18:2; مز 35:22; مز 39:12; مز 83:1; مز 88:4; مز 109:1; مز 143:7) 2 Hear the voice of my pleas for mercy, when I cry to you for help, when I lift up my hands toward your most holy sanctuary.[1] (1مل 8:29; مز 5:7; مز 119:48; مز 134:2; مز 138:2; مز 140:6; مز 141:2; مرا 2:19; 1تي 2:8) 3 Do not drag me off with the wicked, with the workers of evil, who speak peace with their neighbors while evil is in their hearts. (مز 5:9; مز 12:2; مز 26:9; مز 55:21; مز 62:4; إر 9:8; حز 32:20) 4 Give to them according to their work and according to the evil of their deeds; give to them according to the work of their hands; render them their due reward. (مز 137:8; إر 50:15; إر 50:29; 2تي 4:14; رؤ 18:6) 5 Because they do not regard the works of the Lord or the work of his hands, he will tear them down and build them up no more. (أي 34:27; إش 5:12) 6 Blessed be the Lord! For he has heard the voice of my pleas for mercy. (مز 28:2) 7 The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him. (مز 3:3; مز 11:1; مز 69:30) 8 The Lord is the strength of his people;[2] he is the saving refuge of his anointed. (مز 20:6; مز 140:7) 9 Oh, save your people and bless your heritage! Be their shepherd and carry them forever. (تث 9:29; تث 32:9; مز 78:71; إش 40:11; إش 46:3; إش 63:9)
