1 قَالَ الْجَاهِلُ فِي قَلْبِهِ: لَا يُوجَدُ إِلَهٌ! قَدْ فَسَدَ الْبَشَرُ وَارْتَكَبُوا الْمُوبِقَاتِ، وَلَيْسَ بَيْنَهُمْ مَنْ يَعْمَلُ الصَّلاحَ. 2 أَشْرَفَ الرَّبُّ عَلَى بَنِي آدَمَ لِيَرَى هَلْ هُنَاكَ أَيُّ فَاهِمٍ يَطْلُبُ اللهَ؟ 3 فَإِذَا الْجَمِيعُ قَدْ ضَلُّوا عَلَى السَّوَاءِ. كُلُّهُمْ فَسَدُوا، وَلَيْسَ بَيْنَهُمْ مَنْ يَعْمَلُ الصَّلاحَ، وَلَا وَاحِدٌ. 4 أَلَيْسَ لَدَى جَمِيعِ فَاعِلِي الإِثْمِ مَعْرِفَةٌ؟ أُولَئِكَ الَّذِينَ يَأْكُلُونَ شَعْبِي كَمَا يَأْكُلُونَ خُبْزاً، وَلَا يَطْلُبُونَ الرَّبَّ. 5 هُنَاكَ اسْتَوْلَى عَلَيْهِمْ خَوْفٌ عَظِيمٌ، لأَنَّ اللهَ فِي جَمَاعَةِ الأَبْرَارِ. 6 تُسَفِّهُونَ رَأْيَ الْمِسْكِينِ، لأَنَّهُ جَعَلَ اللهَ مَلْجَأَهُ. 7 لَيْتَ مِنْ صِهْيَوْنَ خَلاصَ إِسْرَائِيلَ. عِنْدَمَا يَرُدُّ الرَّبُّ سَبْيَ شَعْبِهِ، يَبْتَهِجُ يَعْقُوبُ، وَيَفْرَحُ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ.

English Standard Version



1 To the choirmaster. Of David. The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, they do abominable deeds; there is none who does good. (تك 6:5; تك 6:11; أي 2:10; مز 10:4; مز 53:1; مز 74:18; مز 74:22; رو 3:10) 2 The Lord looks down from heaven on the children of man, to see if there are any who understand,[1] who seek after God. (2أخ 15:2; 2أخ 19:3; مز 11:4; مز 102:19) 3 They have all turned aside; together they have become corrupt; there is none who does good, not even one. (أي 15:16) 4 Have they no knowledge, all the evildoers who eat up my people as they eat bread and do not call upon the Lord? (مز 27:2; مز 79:6; مز 82:5; أم 30:14; إش 1:3; إش 64:7; إر 4:22; إر 10:25; هو 7:7; عا 8:4; مي 3:3) 5 There they are in great terror, for God is with the generation of the righteous. (مز 24:6; مز 73:15) 6 You would shame the plans of the poor, but[2] the Lord is his refuge. (مز 46:1; مز 61:3; مز 62:7; مز 91:2; مز 142:5) 7 Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion! When the Lord restores the fortunes of his people, let Jacob rejoice, let Israel be glad. (أي 42:10; مز 85:1; مز 126:1; إر 30:18; حز 16:53; حز 39:25; هو 6:11; يؤ 3:1)
