1And it came to pass the same year, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year, and in the fifth month, that Hananiah the son of Azur the prophet, which was of Gibeon, spake unto me in the house of the LORD, in the presence of the priests and of all the people, saying,2Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon.3Within two full years will I bring again into this place all the vessels of the LORD' house, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place, and carried them to Babylon:4And I will bring again to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah, that went into Babylon, saith the LORD: for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.5Then the prophet Jeremiah said unto the prophet Hananiah in the presence of the priests, and in the presence of all the people that stood in the house of the LORD,6Even the prophet Jeremiah said, Amen: the LORD do so: the LORD perform thy words which thou hast prophesied, to bring again the vessels of the LORD' house, and all that is carried away captive, from Babylon into this place.7Nevertheless hear thou now this word that I speak in thine ears, and in the ears of all the people;8The prophets that have been before me and before thee of old prophesied both against many countries, and against great kingdoms, of war, and of evil, and of pestilence.9The prophet which prophesieth of peace, when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, then shall the prophet be known, that the LORD hath truly sent him.10Then Hananiah the prophet took the yoke from off the prophet Jeremiah' neck, and brake it.11And Hananiah spake in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Even so will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the neck of all nations within the space of two full years. And the prophet Jeremiah went his way.12Then the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah the prophet , after that Hananiah the prophet had broken the yoke from off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, saying,13Go and tell Hananiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Thou hast broken the yokes of wood; but thou shalt make for them yokes of iron.14For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him: and I have given him the beasts of the field also.15Then said the prophet Jeremiah unto Hananiah the prophet, Hear now, Hananiah; The LORD hath not sent thee; but thou makest this people to trust in a lie.16Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will cast thee from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die, because thou hast taught rebellion against the LORD.17So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month.

1Es geschah aber in demselben Jahr, im Anfang der Regierung Zedekias, des Königs von Juda, im vierten Jahr, im fünften Monat, dass Hananja, der Sohn Assurs, der Prophet von Gibeon, im Haus des HERRN vor den Augen der Priester und dem ganzen Volk zu mir sagte: (Jer 28:10; Jer 28:15)2So spricht der HERR der Heerscharen, der Gott Israels: Ich zerbreche das Joch des Königs von Babel; (Jer 14:14; Jer 28:13; Eze 13:5)3binnen zwei Jahren bringe ich alle Geräte des Hauses des HERRN, die Nebukadnezar, der König von Babel von hier weggenommen und nach Babel gebracht hat, wieder an diesen Ort zurück; (Jer 27:16)4auch Jechonja, den Sohn Jojakims, den König von Juda, samt allen Gefangenen Judas, die nach Babel gekommen sind, bringe ich an diesen Ort zurück, spricht der HERR; denn ich will das Joch des Königs von Babel zerbrechen! (2Ki 24:14; 2Ki 25:27; Jer 27:12)5Da antwortete der Prophet Jeremia dem Propheten Hananja vor den Augen der Priester und vor den Augen des ganzen Volkes, das im Haus des HERRN stand, (Jer 7:2; Jer 19:14; Jer 26:2; Jer 28:1)6und der Prophet Jeremia sprach: Amen! So möge der HERR handeln! Der HERR lasse deine Worte zustande kommen, die du geweissagt hast, dass er die Geräte des Hauses des HERRN und alle Gefangenen von Babel wieder an diesen Ort zurückbringe! (1Ki 1:36; 1Ki 22:18; Pr 26:4; Jer 11:5; Jer 17:16; Jer 18:20)7Höre jedoch dieses Wort, das ich vor deinen Ohren und den Ohren des ganzen Volkes ausspreche: (Mt 13:9; Re 2:29)8Die Propheten, die vor mir und vor dir von jeher gewesen sind, die haben über viele Länder und große Königreiche von Krieg und Unheil und Pest geweissagt. (Isa 13:1; Am 1:1; Jon 3:1; Na 1:1)9Der Prophet [aber], der Frieden weissagt, der wird am Eintreffen seines Wortes erkannt als ein Prophet, den der HERR in Wahrheit gesandt hat! (De 18:22; Eze 13:9; Zec 1:6)10Da nahm der Prophet Hananja das Joch vom Hals des Propheten Jeremia und zerbrach es. (Jer 27:2; Jer 28:2; Jer 28:4)11Und Hananja sprach vor den Augen des ganzen Volkes: So spricht der HERR: So will ich das Joch Nebukadnezars, des Königs von Babel, innerhalb von zwei Jahren vom Hals aller Völker nehmen und zerbrechen! — Da ging der Prophet Jeremia seines Weges. (Pr 14:7; Jer 2:20; Jer 28:13; Da 2:40)12Es erging aber das Wort des HERRN an Jeremia, nachdem der Prophet Hananja das Joch vom Hals des Propheten Jeremia zerbrochen hatte, folgendermaßen: (2Ki 20:4; Jer 29:29)13Geh und rede zu Hananja und sprich: So spricht der HERR: Du hast ein hölzernes Joch zerbrochen, aber du hast ein eisernes Joch an seiner Stelle bereitet! (De 28:48)14Denn so spricht der HERR der Heerscharen, der Gott Israels: Ich habe ein eisernes Joch auf den Hals aller dieser Völker gelegt, damit sie Nebukadnezar, dem König von Babel, dienstbar sein sollen, und sie werden ihm auch dienen, und ich habe ihm sogar die Tiere des Feldes gegeben! (Jer 27:4; Da 2:37)15Und der Prophet Jeremia sprach zu dem Propheten Hananja: Höre doch, Hananja! Der HERR hat dich nicht gesandt, sondern du hast dieses Volk dazu gebracht, dass es auf eine Lüge vertraut. (Jer 23:32; Jer 29:31; La 2:14; Eze 13:6; Eze 13:22)16Darum, so spricht der HERR: Siehe, ich schaffe dich vom Erdboden weg; du wirst noch in diesem Jahr sterben, weil du Widerstand gegen den HERRN verkündet hast! (De 13:5; Jer 18:20; Jer 29:32; Ac 13:8)17Und der Prophet Hananja starb in demselben Jahr, im siebten Monat. (Jer 28:16)
