1Salmo dei figli di Core. Cantico. Il Signore ha fondato la sua città sui monti santi.2Egli ama le porte di Sion più di tutte le dimore di Giacobbe.3Cose gloriose son dette di te, o città di Dio! [Pausa]4«Menzionerò l’Egitto e Babilonia fra quelli che mi conoscono; ecco la Filistia e Tiro, con l’Etiopia: ciascuno d’essi è nato in Sion!»5E si dirà in Sion: «Questi e quello son nati in essa; e l’Altissimo la renderà stabile».6Il Signore farà il censimento e nel registrare i popoli dirà: «Questi è nato là». [Pausa]7E cantando e danzando diranno: «Tutte le fonti della mia gioia sono in te».
