1 Ein Lied für die Wallfahrt. Ich erhebe meine Augen zu den Bergen: Woher kommt mir Hilfe? 2 Meine Hilfe kommt vom HERRN, der Himmel und Erde erschaffen hat. (Ps 124,8) 3 Er lässt deinen Fuß nicht wanken; dein Hüter schlummert nicht ein. (1Sam 2,9; Ps 66,9) 4 Siehe, er schlummert nicht ein und schläft nicht, der Hüter Israels. (1Kön 18,27) 5 Der HERR ist dein Hüter, der HERR gibt dir Schatten zu deiner Rechten. (Ps 16,8; Ps 73,23) 6 Bei Tag wird dir die Sonne nicht schaden noch der Mond in der Nacht. (Jes 25,4; Jes 49,10) 7 Der HERR behütet dich vor allem Bösen, er behütet dein Leben. (4Mo 6,24; Ps 97,10) 8 Der HERR behütet dein Gehen und dein Kommen von nun an bis in Ewigkeit. (5Mo 28,6; Tob 5,17)

New International Version



1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains – where does my help come from? 2 My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. 3 He will not let your foot slip – he who watches over you will not slumber; 4 indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The Lord watches over you – the Lord is your shade at your right hand; 6 the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. 7 The Lord will keep you from all harm – he will watch over your life; 8 the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and for evermore.
