1 Halleluja! Dem HERRN will ich danken mit ganzem Herzen im Kreis der Redlichen, in der Gemeinde. (Ps 22,23) 2 Groß sind die Werke des HERRN, erforschenswert für alle, die sich an ihnen freuen. 3 Hoheit und Pracht ist sein Walten, seine Gerechtigkeit hat Bestand für immer. 4 Ein Gedächtnis seiner Wunder hat er gestiftet, der HERR ist gnädig und barmherzig. (2Mo 12,1; Ps 116,5) 5 Speise gab er denen, die ihn fürchten, seines Bundes gedenkt er auf ewig. (Ps 105,8; Ps 145,15) 6 Die Macht seiner Werke hat er seinem Volk kundgetan, um ihm das Erbe der Völker zu geben. 7 Die Werke seiner Hände sind Treue und Recht, verlässlich sind alle seine Gebote. 8 Sie stehen fest für immer und ewig, geschaffen in Treue und Redlichkeit. 9 Erlösung hat er seinem Volk gesandt, / seinen Bund bestimmt für ewige Zeiten. Heilig und Furcht gebietend ist sein Name. (Ps 130,8; Jer 32,40) 10 Die Furcht des HERRN ist der Anfang der Weisheit. / Gute Einsicht ist sie allen, die danach handeln. Sein Lob hat Bestand für immer. (Spr 1,7; Spr 9,10)

1 [1] Praise the Lord! I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart, in the company of the upright, in the congregation. (Ps 104,35; Ps 138,1; Ps 149,1) 2 Great are the works of the Lord, studied by all who delight in them. (Ps 92,5; Ps 112,1; Ps 119,45; Ps 119,94; Ps 119,155; Ps 139,14; Ps 143,5; Offb 3,2) 3 Full of splendor and majesty is his work, and his righteousness endures forever. (Ps 112,3; Ps 112,9; Ps 145,5) 4 He has caused his wondrous works to be remembered; the Lord is gracious and merciful. (Ps 78,4) 5 He provides food for those who fear him; he remembers his covenant forever. (Ps 105,8) 6 He has shown his people the power of his works, in giving them the inheritance of the nations. 7 The works of his hands are faithful and just; all his precepts are trustworthy; (Ps 19,7; Ps 93,5) 8 they are established forever and ever, to be performed with faithfulness and uprightness. (Ps 19,9; Jes 40,8; Mt 5,18; Offb 15,3) 9 He sent redemption to his people; he has commanded his covenant forever. Holy and awesome is his name! (Ps 8,1; Ps 99,3; Ps 133,3; Mt 1,21; Lk 1,49; Lk 1,68) 10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding. His praise endures forever! (Ps 44,8; Spr 1,7; Spr 3,4; Spr 9,10; Spr 13,15; Joh 7,17)
