Psalm 24

English Standard Version



1 A Psalm of David. The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof,[1] the world and those who dwell therein, (Ex 9:29; Ex 19:5; De 10:14; Job 41:11; Ps 50:12; Ps 89:11; 1Co 10:26) 2 for he has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers. (Ge 1:9; Job 38:6; Ps 104:5; Ps 136:6; Pr 8:29) 3 Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord? And who shall stand in his holy place? (Ps 2:6; Ps 15:1) 4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false and does not swear deceitfully. (De 10:12; Job 22:30; Ps 31:6; Ps 73:1; Ps 119:37; Isa 33:15; Eze 18:6; Mic 6:8; Mt 5:8) 5 He will receive blessing from the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation. (Ge 22:17; Ps 27:9; Ps 38:22; Ps 51:14; Ps 88:1; Isa 46:13; Isa 56:1) 6 Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek the face of the God of Jacob.[2] (Ps 14:5; Ps 27:8; Ps 105:4) 7 Lift up your heads, O gates! And be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. (Ps 118:19; Isa 26:2; 1Co 2:8) 8 Who is this King of glory? The Lord, strong and mighty, the Lord, mighty in battle! (Ex 15:3) 9 Lift up your heads, O gates! And lift them up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. 10 Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory! (Mal 1:14)

الكتاب المقدس



1 لِلرَّبِّ الأَرْضُ وَكُلُّ مَا فِيهَا. لَهُ الْعَالَمُ، وَجَمِيعُ السَّاكِنِينَ فِيهِ. 2 لأَنَّهُ هُوَ أَسَّسَ الأَرْضَ عَلَى الْبِحَارِ، وَثَبَّتَهَا عَلَى الأَنْهَارِ. 3 مَنْ يَحِقُّ لَهُ أَنْ يَصْعَدَ إِلَى جَبَلِ الرَّبِّ، وَيَقِفَ فِي بَيْتِهِ الْمُقَدَّسِ؟ 4 إِنَّهُ صَاحِبُ الْيَدَيْنِ الطَّاهِرَتَيْنِ وَالْقَلْبِ النَّقِيِّ. ذَاكَ الَّذِي لَا يَحْمِلُ نَفْسَهُ عَلَى الْبَاطِلِ، وَلَا يَحْلِفُ مُنَافِقاً. 5 يَتَلَقَّى الْبَرَكَةَ مِنَ الرَّبِّ، وَالْبِرَّ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللهِ مُخَلِّصِهِ. 6 هَذَا هُوَ الْجِيلُ السَّاعِي وَرَاءَ الرَّبِّ، الطَّالِبُ وَجْهَكَ يَا إِلَهَ يَعْقُوبَ. 7 ارْفَعِي رُؤُوسَكِ أَيَّتُهَا الأَبْوَابُ، وَارْتَفِعِي أَيَّتُهَا الْمَدَاخِلُ الأَبَدِيَّةُ، فَيَدْخُلَ مَلِكُ الْمَجْدِ. 8 مَنْ هُوَ مَلِكُ الْمَجْدِ هَذَا؟ إِنَّهُ الرَّبُّ الْقَدِيرُ الْجَبَّارُ، الرَّبُّ الْجَبَّارُ فِي الْقِتَالِ. 9 ارْفَعِي رُؤُوسَكِ أَيَّتُهَا الأَبْوَابُ، ارْفَعِيهَا أَيَّتُهَا الْمَدَاخِلُ الأَبَدِيَّةُ، فَيَدْخُلَ مَلِكُ الْمَجْدِ 10 مَنْ هُوَ مَلِكُ الْمَجْدِ هَذَا؟ إِنَّهُ رَبُّ الْجُنُودِ، هُوَ مَلِكُ الْمَجْدِ.
