1 Cantique pour la route vers la demeure de l’Eternel[1]. De David. O Eternel, ╵mon cœur ne s’enfle pas d’orgueil, ╵mes yeux n’ont pas visé trop haut, je ne me suis pas engagé ╵dans des projets trop grands, trop compliqués pour moi. (Ps 120:1) 2 Bien au contraire: ╵je suis resté tranquille et calme, comme un enfant sevré ╵porté par sa maman. Oui, je me sens au fond de moi ╵comme l’enfant sevré. 3 Israël, mets ta confiance ╵en l’Eternel, dès maintenant et pour toujours.

1 A Song of Ascents. Of David. O Lord, my heart is not lifted up; my eyes are not raised too high; I do not occupy myself with things too great and too marvelous for me. (Jb 42:3; Ps 101:5; Ps 120:1; Ps 138:6; Is 57:15; Jr 45:5; Rm 12:16) 2 But I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child is my soul within me. (Mt 18:3; 1Co 14:20) 3 O Israel, hope in the Lord from this time forth and forevermore. (Ps 130:7)
