27 And the servants[1] of the master of the house came and said to him, ‘Master, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have weeds?’ 

New International Version

27 ‘The owner’s servants came to him and said, “Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?” 

New International Reader’s Version

27 ‘The owner’s slaves came to him. They said, “Sir, didn’t you plant good seed in your field? Then where did the weeds come from?” 

King James Version

27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
