12 And the men of the garrison hailed Jonathan and his armor-bearer and said, “Come up to us, and we will show you a thing.” And Jonathan said to his armor-bearer, “Come up after me, for the Lord has given them into the hand of Israel.” 

New International Version

12 The men of the outpost shouted to Jonathan and his armour-bearer, ‘Come up to us and we’ll teach you a lesson.’ So Jonathan said to his armour-bearer, ‘Climb up after me; the Lord has given them into the hand of Israel.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

12 The men in the Philistine camp shouted to Jonathan and the young man carrying his armour. They said, ‘Come on up here. We’ll teach you a thing or two.’ So Jonathan said to the young man, ‘Climb up after me. The LORD has handed them over to Israel.’ 

King James Version

12 And the men of the garrison answered Jonathan and his armourbearer, and said, Come up to us, and we will shew you a thing. And Jonathan said unto his armourbearer, Come up after me: for the LORD hath delivered them into the hand of Israel.
