1RAB meshettiği kişiye, Sağ elinden tuttuğu Koreş'e sesleniyor. Uluslara onun önünde baş eğdirecek, Kralları silahsızlandıracak, Bir daha kapanmayacak kapılar açacak. Ona şöyle diyor:2‹‹Senin önünsıra gidip Dağları düzleyecek, Tunç kapıları kırıp Demir sürgülerini parçalayacağım.3Seni adınla çağıranın Ben RAB, İsrail'in Tanrısı olduğumu anlayasın diye Karanlıkta kalmış hazineleri, Gizli yerlerde saklı zenginlikleri sana vereceğim.4Sen beni tanımadığın halde Kulum Yakup soyu ve seçtiğim İsrail uğruna Seni adınla çağırıp onurlu bir unvan vereceğim.5RAB benim, başkası yok, Benden başka Tanrı yok. Beni tanımadığın halde seni güçlü kılacağım.6Öyle ki, doğudan batıya dek Benden başkası olmadığını herkes bilsin. RAB benim, başkası yok.7Işığı biçimlendiren, karanlığı yapan, Esenliği ve felaketi yaratan, Bütün bunları yapan RAB benim.8Ey gökler, yukarıdan doğruluk damlatın, Ey bulutlar, doğruluk yağdırın. Toprak yarılsın, kurtuluş meyvesi versin, Onunla birlikte doğruluk yetiştirsin. Bunları yaratan RAB benim.››
Her Şeyi Yaratan Tanrı
9Kendine biçim verenle çekişenin vay haline! Kil, topraktan yapılmış çömlek parçası, Kendisine biçim verene, ‹‹Ne yapıyorsun? Yarattığın nesnenin tutacağı yok›› diyebilir mi?10Babasına, ‹‹Dünyaya ne getirdin?›› Ya da annesine, ‹‹Ne biçim şey doğurdun?›› Diyenin vay haline!11İsrail'in Kutsalı, Ona biçim veren RAB diyor ki, ‹‹Çocuklarımın geleceği hakkında beni sorgulayabilir, Ellerimin yapıtları hakkında bana buyruk verebilir misiniz?12Dünyayı ben yaptım, Üzerindeki insanı ben yarattım. Benim ellerim gerdi gökleri, Bütün gök cisimleri benim buyruğumda.13Koreş'i doğrulukla harekete geçirecek, Yollarını düzleyeceğim. Kentimi o onaracak, Sürgünlerimi ücret ya da ödül almadan o özgür kılacak.›› Böyle diyor Her Şeye Egemen RAB.14RAB diyor ki, ‹‹Mısır'ın ürettikleri, Kûş'un ticaret gelirleri Ve uzun boylu Sevalılar size gelecek, sizin olacak. Zincire vurulmuş olarak ardınızsıra yürüyecekler. Önünüzde yere kapanıp yalvaracaklar: ‹Tanrı yalnız sizinledir, Başkası, başka Tanrı yok.› ››15Gerçekten sen kendini gizleyen bir Tanrı'sın, Ey İsrail'in Tanrısı, ey Kurtarıcı!16Put yapanların hepsi utandırılacak, rezil olacak. Utanç içinde uzaklaşacaklar.17Ama İsrail RAB tarafından kurtarılacak, Sonsuza dek sürecek kurtuluşu. Çağlar boyunca utandırılmayacak, Asla rezil olmayacak.18Çünkü gökleri yaratan RAB, Dünyayı yaratıp biçimlendiren, pekiştiren, Üzerinde yaşanmasın diye değil, yaşansın diye Biçimlendiren RAB -Tanrı O'dur- şöyle diyor: ‹‹RAB benim, başkası yok.19Ben gizlide, Karanlıklar ülkesinin bir köşesinde konuşmadım. Yakup soyuna, ‹Beni olmayacak yerlerde[1] arayın› demedim. Doğru olanı söyleyen, adil olanı bildiren RAB benim.››
Tanrı ve Babil'in Putları
20‹‹Ey sizler, uluslardan kaçıp kurtulanlar, Toplanıp gelin, birlikte yaklaşın! Tahtadan oyma putlar taşıyan, Kurtaramayan ilahlara yakaranlar bilgisizdir.21Konuşun, davanızı sunun, Birbirinize danışın. Bunları çok önceden duyurup bildiren kim? Ben RAB, bildirmedim mi? Benden başka Tanrı yok, adil Tanrı ve Kurtarıcı benim. Yok benden başkası.22‹‹Ey dünyanın dört bucağındakiler, Bana dönün, kurtulursunuz. Çünkü Tanrı benim, başkası yok.23Kendi üzerime ant içtim, Ağzımdan çıkan söz doğrudur, boşa çıkmaz: Her diz önümde çökecek, Her dil bana ant içecek.24‹‹Benim için şöyle diyecekler: ‹Doğruluk ve güç yalnız RAB'dedir›, İnsanlar O'na gelecek. RAB'be öfkelenenlerin hepsi utandırılacak.25Ama bütün İsrail soyu RAB tarafından aklanacak, O'nunla övünecek.

Cyrus, God’s Instrument
1Thus says the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have grasped, to subdue nations before him and to loose the belts of kings, to open doors before him that gates may not be closed: (Eyü 12:21; Yşa 22:21; Yşa 41:13; Yşa 44:28; Yşa 45:5)2“I will go before you and level the exalted places,[1] I will break in pieces the doors of bronze and cut through the bars of iron, (Mez 107:16; Yşa 40:4)3I will give you the treasures of darkness and the hoards in secret places, that you may know that it is I, the Lord, the God of Israel, who call you by your name. (Yşa 43:1; Yer 50:37; Yer 51:13)4For the sake of my servant Jacob, and Israel my chosen, I call you by your name, I name you, though you do not know me. (Yşa 45:3; Yşa 62:2)5I am the Lord, and there is no other, besides me there is no God; I equip you, though you do not know me, (Eyü 12:21; Yşa 22:21; Yşa 44:8)6that people may know, from the rising of the sun and from the west, that there is none besides me; I am the Lord, and there is no other. (Yşa 37:20; Mal 1:11)7I form light and create darkness; I make well-being and create calamity; I am the Lord, who does all these things. (Yşa 41:23; Amo 3:6)8“Shower, O heavens, from above, and let the clouds rain down righteousness; let the earth open, that salvation and righteousness may bear fruit; let the earth cause them both to sprout; I the Lord have created it. (Yas 32:2; Mez 85:11; Hoş 10:12)9“Woe to him who strives with him who formed him, a pot among earthen pots! Does the clay say to him who forms it, ‘What are you making?’ or ‘Your work has no handles’? (Vai 6:10; Yşa 10:15; Yşa 64:8; Rom 9:20)10Woe to him who says to a father, ‘What are you begetting?’ or to a woman, ‘With what are you in labor?’”11Thus says the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, and the one who formed him: “Ask me of things to come; will you command me concerning my children and the work of my hands?[2] (Yşa 29:23; Yşa 41:23; Yşa 64:8; Yer 31:9; Hez 39:7)12I made the earth and created man on it; it was my hands that stretched out the heavens, and I commanded all their host. (Yar 2:1; Yşa 42:5; Yşa 44:24; Yer 27:5)13I have stirred him up in righteousness, and I will make all his ways level; he shall build my city and set my exiles free, not for price or reward,” says the Lord of hosts. (Yşa 41:2; Yşa 44:28; Yşa 45:2; Yşa 49:25; Yşa 51:14; Yşa 52:3)
The Lord, the Only Savior
14Thus says the Lord: “The wealth of Egypt and the merchandise of Cush, and the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over to you and be yours; they shall follow you; they shall come over in chains and bow down to you. They will plead with you, saying: ‘Surely God is in you, and there is no other, no god besides him.’” (Yşa 14:2; Yşa 43:3)15Truly, you are a God who hides himself, O God of Israel, the Savior. (Yşa 57:17)16All of them are put to shame and confounded; the makers of idols go in confusion together. (Yşa 42:17)17But Israel is saved by the Lord with everlasting salvation; you shall not be put to shame or confounded to all eternity. (Yşa 54:4)18For thus says the Lord, who created the heavens (he is God!), who formed the earth and made it (he established it; he did not create it empty, he formed it to be inhabited!): “I am the Lord, and there is no other. (Yar 1:2; Mez 115:16; Yşa 42:5)19I did not speak in secret, in a land of darkness; I did not say to the offspring of Jacob, ‘Seek me in vain.’[3] I the Lord speak the truth; I declare what is right. (Yas 30:11; Yşa 45:23; Yşa 48:16; Yer 29:13)20“Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, you survivors of the nations! They have no knowledge who carry about their wooden idols, and keep on praying to a god that cannot save. (Yşa 41:1; Yşa 44:17; Yşa 44:18; Yşa 46:1; Yşa 46:7; Yşa 48:5; Yer 10:5)21Declare and present your case; let them take counsel together! Who told this long ago? Who declared it of old? Was it not I, the Lord? And there is no other god besides me, a righteous God and a Savior; there is none besides me. (Yşa 41:22; Yşa 41:26; Yşa 43:9; Yşa 43:11)22“Turn to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other. (Yşa 11:12; Yşa 43:5)23By myself I have sworn; from my mouth has gone out in righteousness a word that shall not return: ‘To me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear allegiance.’[4] (Yar 22:16; Yşa 45:19; Rom 14:11; Flp 2:10)24“Only in the Lord, it shall be said of me, are righteousness and strength; to him shall come and be ashamed all who were incensed against him. (Yşa 26:4; Yşa 41:11; Yşa 44:8)25In the Lord all the offspring of Israel shall be justified and shall glory.”
