1 Tanrı'nın Oğlu İsa Mesih'le ilgili Müjde'nin başlangıcı. (Mar 16:1; Luk 24:1; Yu 20:1) 2 Peygamber Yeşaya'nın Kitabı'nda şöyle yazılmıştır: ‹‹İşte, habercimi senin önünden gönderiyorum; O senin yolunu hazırlayacak.›› 3 ‹‹Çölde haykıran, ‹Rab'bin yolunu hazırlayın, Geçeceği patikaları düzleyin› diye sesleniyor.›› 4 Böylece Vaftizci Yahya çölde ortaya çıktı. İnsanları, günahlarının bağışlanması için tövbe edip vaftiz olmaya çağırıyordu. 5 Bütün Yahudiye halkı ve Yeruşalimliler'in hepsi ona geliyor, günahlarını itiraf ediyor, onun tarafından Şeria Irmağı'nda vaftiz ediliyordu. 6 Yahya'nın deve tüyünden giysisi, belinde deri kuşağı vardı. Çekirge ve yaban balı yerdi. 7 Şu haberi yayıyordu: ‹‹Benden sonra benden daha güçlü olan geliyor. Eğilip O'nun çarıklarının bağını çözmeye bile layık değilim. 8 Ben sizi suyla vaftiz ettim, ama O sizi Kutsal Ruh'la vaftiz edecektir.›› 



9 O günlerde Celile'nin Nasıra Kenti'nden çıkıp gelen İsa, Yahya tarafından Şeria Irmağı'nda vaftiz edildi. (Mat 3:13; Mat 4:1; Luk 3:21) 10 Tam sudan çıkarken, göklerin yarıldığını ve Ruh'un güvercin gibi üzerine indiğini gördü. 11 Göklerden, ‹‹Sen benim sevgili Oğlum'sun, senden hoşnudum›› diyen bir ses duyuldu. 12 O an Ruh, İsa'yı çöle gönderdi. 13 İsa çölde kaldığı kırk gün boyunca Şeytan tarafından denendi. Yabanıl hayvanlar arasındaydı, melekler O'na hizmet ediyordu. 14 Yahya'nın tutuklanmasından sonra İsa, Tanrı'nın Müjdesi'ni duyura duyura Celile'ye gitti. 15 ‹‹Zaman doldu›› diyordu, ‹‹Tanrı'nın Egemenliği yaklaştı. Tövbe edin, Müjde'ye inanın!›› 16 İsa, Celile Gölü'nün kıyısından geçerken, göle ağ atmakta olan Simun ile kardeşi Andreas'ı gördü. Bu adamlar balıkçıydı. 17 İsa onlara, ‹‹Ardımdan gelin›› dedi, ‹‹Sizleri insan tutan balıkçılar yapacağım.›› 18 Onlar da hemen ağlarını bırakıp O'nun ardından gittiler. 19 İsa biraz ileri gidince Zebedi'nin oğulları Yakup'la Yuhanna'yı gördü. Teknede ağlarını onarıyorlardı. 20 Hemen onları çağırdı. Onlar da babaları Zebedi'yi işçilerle birlikte teknede bırakıp İsa'nın ardından gittiler. (Mat 3:1; Luk 3:1; Yu 1:19) 



21 Kefarnahum'a girdiler. Şabat Günü İsa havraya gidip öğretmeye başladı. (Mat 8:14; Luk 4:31) 22 Halk O'nun öğretişine şaşıp kaldı. Çünkü onlara din bilginleri gibi değil, yetkili biri gibi öğretiyordu. 23-24 Tam o sırada havrada bulunan ve kötü ruha tutulmuş bir adam, ‹‹Ey Nasıralı İsa, bizden ne istiyorsun?›› diye bağırdı. ‹‹Bizi mahvetmeye mi geldin? Senin kim olduğunu biliyorum, Tanrı'nın Kutsalı'sın sen!›› 25 İsa, ‹‹Sus, çık adamdan!›› diyerek kötü ruhu azarladı. 26 Kötü ruh adamı sarstı ve büyük bir çığlık atarak içinden çıktı. 27 Herkes şaşıp kaldı. Birbirlerine, ‹‹Bu nasıl şey?›› diye sormaya başladılar. ‹‹Yepyeni bir öğreti! Kötü ruhlara bile yetkiyle buyruk veriyor, onlar da sözünü dinliyor.›› 28 Böylece İsa'yla ilgili haber, Celile bölgesinin her yerine hızla yayıldı. 29 İsa havradan çıkar çıkmaz, Yakup ve Yuhanna ile birlikte Simun ve Andreas'ın evine gitti. 30 Simun'un kaynanası ateşler içinde yatıyordu. Durumu hemen İsa'ya bildirdiler. 31 O da hastaya yaklaştı, elinden tutup kaldırdı. Kadının ateşi düştü, onlara hizmet etmeye başladı. 32 Akşam olup güneş batınca, bütün hastaları ve cinlileri İsa'ya getirdiler. 33 Bütün kent halkı kapıya toplanmıştı. 34 İsa, çeşitli hastalıklara yakalanmış birçok kişiyi iyileştirdi, birçok cini kovdu. Cinlerin konuşmasına izin vermiyordu. Çünkü onlar kendisinin kim olduğunu biliyorlardı. 35 Sabah çok erkenden, ortalık henüz ağarmadan İsa kalktı, evden çıkıp ıssız bir yere gitti, orada dua etmeye başladı. 36 Simun ile yanındakiler İsa'yı aramaya çıktılar. 37 O'nu bulunca, ‹‹Herkes seni arıyor!›› dediler. 38 İsa onlara, ‹‹Başka yerlere, yakın kasabalara gidelim›› dedi. ‹‹Oralarda da Tanrı sözünü duyurayım. Bunun için çıkıp geldim.›› 39 Böylece havralarında Tanrı sözünü duyurarak ve cinleri kovarak bütün Celile bölgesini dolaştı. 



40 İsa'ya cüzamlı biri geldi, diz çökerek, ‹‹İstersen beni temiz kılabilirsin›› diye yalvardı. (Mat 8:1; Luk 5:12) 41 İsa'nın yüreği sızladı, elini uzatıp adama dokundu, ‹‹İsterim, temiz ol!›› dedi. 42 Adam anında cüzamdan kurtulup tertemiz oldu. 43 İsa onu sıkıca uyararak hemen yanından uzaklaştırdı. 44 ‹‹Sakın kimseye bir şey söyleme!›› dedi. ‹‹Git, kâhine görün ve cüzamdan temizlendiğini herkese kanıtlamak için Musa'nın buyurduğu sunuları sun.›› 45 Ne var ki, adam çıkıp gitti, olayla ilgili haberi her tarafa yayıp duyurmaya başladı. Öyle ki, İsa artık hiçbir kente açıkça giremez oldu. Ancak dışarıda, ıssız yerlerde kalıyordu. Ve halk her yerden O'na akın ediyordu.

1 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.[1] (Mat 14:33) 2 As it is written in Isaiah the prophet,[2] “Behold, I send my messenger before your face, who will prepare your way, (Mal 3:1; Mat 3:1; Mat 11:10; Luk 1:17; Luk 1:76; Luk 3:2; Luk 7:27) 3 the voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare[3] the way of the Lord, make his paths straight,’” (Yşa 40:3; Luk 1:76; Yu 1:23) 4 John appeared, baptizing in the wilderness and proclaiming a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. (Yşu 15:61; Hak 1:16; Mat 26:28; Mar 1:15; Luk 1:77; Yu 1:6; Elç 2:38) 5 And all the country of Judea and all Jerusalem were going out to him and were being baptized by him in the river Jordan, confessing their sins. (Elç 19:18) 6 Now John was clothed with camel’s hair and wore a leather belt around his waist and ate locusts and wild honey. (Lev 11:22; 1 Sa 14:26; 2 Kr 1:8; Zek 13:4; İbr 11:37) 7 And he preached, saying, “After me comes he who is mightier than I, the strap of whose sandals I am not worthy to stoop down and untie. (Yu 1:15; Yu 1:27; Yu 3:30; Elç 13:25) 8 I have baptized you with water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.” (Yu 1:26; Yu 1:33; Elç 1:5; Elç 11:16) 



9 In those days Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan. (Mat 2:23; Mat 3:13; Luk 3:21; Yu 1:32) 10 And when he came up out of the water, immediately he saw the heavens being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove. (Yşa 64:1; Luk 4:18; Luk 4:21; Yu 1:32; Elç 7:56; Elç 10:38) 11 And a voice came from heaven, “You are my beloved Son;[4] with you I am well pleased.” (Mez 2:7; Yşa 42:1; Mar 9:7; Yu 12:28; Ef 1:6; Kol 1:13; 2 Pe 1:17; 1 Yu 5:9) 



12 The Spirit immediately drove him out into the wilderness. (Mat 4:1; Luk 4:1) 13 And he was in the wilderness forty days, being tempted by Satan. And he was with the wild animals, and the angels were ministering to him. (1 Ta 21:1; Mat 26:53; Mar 1:12; Luk 22:43; İbr 2:18; İbr 4:15) 



14 Now after John was arrested, Jesus came into Galilee, proclaiming the gospel of God, (Mat 4:12; Mat 4:17; Mat 4:23; Mat 14:3; Luk 3:20; Yu 3:24) 15 and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand;[5] repent and believe in the gospel.” (Dan 9:25; Mat 3:2; Luk 21:8; Yu 7:8; Elç 19:4; Elç 20:21; Gal 4:4; Ef 1:10; İbr 6:1) 



16 Passing alongside the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew the brother of Simon casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen. (Mat 4:18; Luk 5:2; Yu 1:40) 17 And Jesus said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you become fishers of men.”[6] (Mat 13:47) 18 And immediately they left their nets and followed him. 19 And going on a little farther, he saw James the son of Zebedee and John his brother, who were in their boat mending the nets. 20 And immediately he called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired servants and followed him. 



21 And they went into Capernaum, and immediately on the Sabbath he entered the synagogue and was teaching. (Mat 4:13; Mat 4:23; Mar 1:39; Mar 6:2; Luk 4:31) 22 And they were astonished at his teaching, for he taught them as one who had authority, and not as the scribes. (Mat 7:28) 23 And immediately there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit. And he cried out, 24 “What have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are—the Holy One of God.” (Mat 8:29; Mar 1:34; Luk 1:35; Yu 6:69; Elç 3:14; Elç 19:15; İbr 7:26; Yak 2:19; 1 Yu 2:20; Va 3:7) 25 But Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be silent, and come out of him!” (Mat 12:16) 26 And the unclean spirit, convulsing him and crying out with a loud voice, came out of him. (Mar 5:7; Mar 9:26; Elç 8:7) 27 And they were all amazed, so that they questioned among themselves, saying, “What is this? A new teaching with authority! He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey him.” (Mat 8:27; Elç 17:19) 28 And at once his fame spread everywhere throughout all the surrounding region of Galilee. 



29 And immediately he[7] left the synagogue and entered the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John. (Mat 8:14; Mar 1:21; Mar 1:23; Luk 4:38) 30 Now Simon’s mother-in-law lay ill with a fever, and immediately they told him about her. (1 Ko 9:5) 31 And he came and took her by the hand and lifted her up, and the fever left her, and she began to serve them. (Mar 9:27; Elç 3:7; Elç 9:41) 32 That evening at sundown they brought to him all who were sick or oppressed by demons. (Mat 4:24) 33 And the whole city was gathered together at the door. 34 And he healed many who were sick with various diseases, and cast out many demons. And he would not permit the demons to speak, because they knew him. (Mat 4:23; Mar 3:11; Elç 16:17) 



35 And rising very early in the morning, while it was still dark, he departed and went out to a desolate place, and there he prayed. (Mat 14:23; Luk 4:42; Luk 5:16) 36 And Simon and those who were with him searched for him, 37 and they found him and said to him, “Everyone is looking for you.” (Yu 12:19) 38 And he said to them, “Let us go on to the next towns, that I may preach there also, for that is why I came out.” (Yşa 61:1) 39 And he went throughout all Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and casting out demons. (Mar 1:21; Luk 4:44) 



40 And a leper[8] came to him, imploring him, and kneeling said to him, “If you will, you can make me clean.” (Mat 8:2; Mat 9:28; Mat 17:14; Mat 27:29; Mar 9:22; Mar 10:17; Luk 5:12) 41 Moved with pity, he stretched out his hand and touched him and said to him, “I will; be clean.” 42 And immediately the leprosy left him, and he was made clean. 43 And Jesus[9] sternly charged him and sent him away at once, (Mat 9:30) 44 and said to him, “See that you say nothing to anyone, but go, show yourself to the priest and offer for your cleansing what Moses commanded, for a proof to them.” (Lev 14:2; Mat 9:30; Mat 12:16; Mat 17:9; Mar 1:34; Mar 5:43; Mar 6:11; Mar 7:36; Mar 8:26; Luk 9:5; Luk 17:14; Yak 5:3) 45 But he went out and began to talk freely about it, and to spread the news, so that Jesus could no longer openly enter a town, but was out in desolate places, and people were coming to him from every quarter. (Mat 9:31; Mar 2:2; Mar 2:13; Mar 3:7; Mar 7:36; Luk 5:15; Yu 6:2; 2 Ko 11:26)
