Sexual Immorality Defiles the Church
1It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and of a kind that is not tolerated even among pagans, for a man has his father’s wife. (Lev 18:8; Yas 22:30; Yas 27:20; 2 Ko 12:21)2And you are arrogant! Ought you not rather to mourn? Let him who has done this be removed from among you. (1 Ko 4:6; 2 Ko 7:7)3For though absent in body, I am present in spirit; and as if present, I have already pronounced judgment on the one who did such a thing. (Kol 2:5; 1 Se 2:17)4When you are assembled in the name of the Lord Jesus and my spirit is present, with the power of our Lord Jesus, (Mat 16:19; Mat 18:18; Yu 20:23; 2 Ko 13:3; 2 Ko 13:10; 2 Se 3:6; 1 Ti 5:20)5you are to deliver this man to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord.[1] (Eyü 2:6; Özd 23:14; Elç 26:18; 1 Ko 1:8; 1 Ti 1:20)6Your boasting is not good.
