1 Ein Psalm. Singt dem HERRN ein neues Lied! Denn er hat Wunder getan; seine Rechte hat ihm den Sieg verschafft und sein heiliger Arm. (2Mo 15,6; Ps 45,5; Ps 72,18; Ps 86,10; Ps 96,1; Jes 59,16) 2 Der HERR hat sein Heil kundwerden lassen; er hat vor den Augen der Heiden seine Gerechtigkeit geoffenbart. (1Chr 16,8; 1Chr 17,18; Jes 51,5; Lk 2,30; Apg 28,28; Röm 3,21) 3 Er gedachte an seine Gnade und Treue gegenüber dem Haus Israel; alle Enden der Erde haben gesehen das Heil unseres Gottes. (2Mo 2,24; Ps 51,20; Ps 89,29; Jes 49,6; Jes 52,10; Jes 54,10; Lk 3,6; Apg 28,28) 4 Jauchzt dem HERRN, alle Welt; brecht in Jubel aus, frohlockt und lobsingt! (Ps 66,1; Ps 95,1) 5 Lobsingt dem HERRN mit der Laute, mit der Laute und mit klangvoller Stimme, (1Chr 15,28) 6 mit Trompeten und Hörnerschall; jauchzt vor dem König, dem HERRN! (Offb 11,15) 7 Es brause das Meer und was es erfüllt, der Erdkreis und die darauf wohnen; (Ps 96,11; Röm 8,19) 8 die Ströme sollen in die Hände klatschen, die Berge allesamt sollen jubeln (Jes 55,12) 9 vor dem HERRN, denn er kommt, um die Erde zu richten! Er wird den Erdkreis richten mit Gerechtigkeit und die Völker, wie es recht ist. (Ps 96,13)

New International Reader’s Version



1 Sing a new song to the LORD. He has done wonderful things. By the power of his right hand and his holy arm he has saved his people. 2 The LORD has made known his power to save. He has shown the nations that he does what is right. 3 He has shown his faithful love to the people of Israel. People from one end of the earth to the other have seen that our God has saved us. 4 Shout for joy to the LORD, everyone on earth. Burst into joyful songs and make music. 5 Make music to the LORD with the harp. Sing and make music with the harp. 6 Blow the trumpets. Give a blast on the ram’s horn. Shout for joy to the LORD. He is the King. 7 Let the ocean and everything in it roar. Let the world and all who live in it shout. 8 Let the rivers clap their hands. Let the mountains sing together with joy. 9 Let them sing to the LORD, because he is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the nations of the world in keeping with what is right and fair.
