5 Er hat die Erde auf ihre Grundfesten gegründet, dass sie nicht wankt für immer und ewig. (Hi 38,4; Pred 1,4) 6 Mit der Flut decktest du sie wie mit einem Kleid; die Wasser standen über den Bergen; (1Mo 7,19; 2Petr 3,5) 7 aber vor deinem Schelten flohen sie, vor deiner Donnerstimme suchten sie ängstlich das Weite. (Ps 65,9; Jer 10,13) 14 Du lässt Gras wachsen für das Vieh und Pflanzen, dass sie dem Menschen dienen, damit er Nahrung hervorbringe aus der Erde; (1Mo 1,29; Apg 14,17) 15 und damit der Wein das Herz des Menschen erfreue, und das Angesicht glänzend werde vom Öl, und damit Brot das Herz des Menschen stärke. 16 Die Bäume des HERRN trinken sich satt, die Zedern des Libanon, die er gepflanzt hat, (4Mo 24,6) 17 wo die Vögel ihre Nester bauen und der Storch, der die Zypressen bewohnt. 21 Die jungen Löwen brüllen nach Raub und suchen ihre Nahrung von Gott.
