Jakobs Familie wächst

1 Als aber Rahel sah, dass sie dem Jakob keine Kinder gebar, wurde sie eifersüchtig auf ihre Schwester und sprach zu Jakob: Schaffe mir Kinder! Wenn nicht, so sterbe ich! (1Mo 35,16; 1Mo 37,11; Spr 14,30; 1Kor 3,3)

2 Jakob aber wurde sehr zornig auf Rahel und sprach: Bin ich denn an Gottes Stelle, der dir Leibesfrucht versagt? (1Mo 31,36; 1Mo 50,19; 2Mo 32,19; 2Kön 5,7)

3 Sie aber sprach: Siehe, da ist meine Magd Bilha, gehe zu ihr ein, dass sie in meinen Schoß gebäre und ich doch durch sie Nachkommen erhalte! (1Mo 16,2; Rut 4,11) 4 Und sie gab ihm ihre Magd Bilha zur Frau, und Jakob ging zu ihr ein. (1Mo 46,25) 5 Bilha aber wurde schwanger und gebar dem Jakob einen Sohn. 6 Da sprach Rahel: Gott hat mir Recht verschafft und meine Stimme erhört und mir einen Sohn gegeben! Darum gab sie ihm den Namen Dan. (1Mo 49,16; Ri 13,2; Ri 13,24) 7 Und Bilha, die Magd Rahels, wurde nochmals schwanger und gebar dem Jakob einen zweiten Sohn. (1Mo 30,3) 8 Da sprach Rahel: Kämpfe Gottes habe ich mit meiner Schwester gekämpft und habe auch gewonnen! Darum gab sie ihm den Namen Naphtali. (1Mo 32,29; 1Mo 35,25; 1Mo 49,21; Mt 4,13)

9 Als nun Lea sah, dass sie aufgehört hatte zu gebären, nahm sie ihre Magd Silpa und gab sie Jakob zur Frau. (1Mo 30,3) 10 Und Silpa, Leas Magd, gebar dem Jakob einen Sohn. 11 Da sprach Lea: Ich habe Glück! Und sie gab ihm den Namen Gad. (1Mo 49,19; 5Mo 33,20) 12 Danach gebar Silpa, Leas Magd, dem Jakob einen zweiten Sohn. (1Mo 30,13) 13 Da sprach Lea: Wohl mir! Die Töchter werden mich glücklich preisen! 14 Ruben aber ging aus zur Zeit der Weizenernte und fand Alraunenfrüchte auf dem Feld und brachte sie heim zu seiner Mutter Lea. Da sprach Rahel zu Lea: Gib mir einen Teil der Alraunenfrüchte deines Sohnes! (Hl 7,14) 15 Sie antwortete ihr: Ist das nicht genug, dass du mir meinen Mann genommen hast? Und willst du auch die Alraunenfrüchte meines Sohnes nehmen? Rahel sprach: Er soll dafür diese Nacht bei dir schlafen zum Entgelt für die Alraunenfrüchte deines Sohnes! (4Mo 16,9; Jes 7,13) 16 Als nun Jakob am Abend vom Feld kam, ging ihm Lea entgegen und sprach: Du sollst zu mir kommen, denn ich habe dich erkauft um die Alraunenfrüchte meines Sohnes! Und er schlief in jener Nacht bei ihr. 17 Und Gott erhörte Lea, und sie wurde schwanger und gebar dem Jakob den fünften Sohn. (1Mo 30,22; 1Sam 1,20; 1Sam 1,27; Lk 1,13)

18 Da sprach Lea: Gott hat es mir gelohnt, dass ich meinem Mann meine Magd gegeben habe! Und sie gab ihm den Namen Issaschar. (1Mo 49,14; 5Mo 33,18; 1Chr 12,32) 19 Und Lea wurde noch einmal schwanger und gebar dem Jakob den sechsten Sohn. (1Mo 35,23) 20 Und Lea sprach: Gott hat mich mit einer guten Gabe beschenkt! Nun wird mein Mann wieder bei mir wohnen, denn ich habe ihm sechs Söhne geboren! Und sie gab ihm den Namen Sebulon. (1Mo 29,34; 1Mo 46,14; 1Mo 49,13; Ri 4,10; Ri 5,14; Ps 68,28)

21 Danach gebar sie eine Tochter, der sie den Namen Dina gab. (1Mo 34,1; 1Mo 46,15) 22 Aber Gott gedachte an Rahel, und Gott erhörte sie und öffnete ihren Mutterschoß. (1Mo 8,1; 1Mo 21,1; 1Mo 25,21; 1Sam 1,19; Ps 113,9; Ps 127,3)

25 Und es geschah, als Rahel den Joseph geboren hatte, da sprach Jakob zu Laban: Entlasse mich, dass ich an meinen Ort und in mein Land ziehe! (1Mo 27,45; 1Mo 28,15; Hebr 11,9; Hebr 11,15)

34 Da sprach Laban: Gut; es sei so, wie du gesagt hast! (1Kor 3,8) 35 Und er sonderte noch am gleichen Tag die gestreiften und gefleckten Böcke aus und alle gesprenkelten und gefleckten Ziegen, alles, woran etwas Weißes war, und alles, was schwarz war unter den Schafen, und er gab sie unter die Hand seiner Söhne. 37 Da nahm Jakob frische Ruten von Pappeln, Mandel- und Platanenbäumen und schälte weiße Streifen daran, indem er das Weiße an den Ruten bloßlegte. (1Mo 30,38; 1Mo 30,41) 38 Und er legte die Ruten, die er abgeschält hatte, in die Tränkrinnen, in die Wassertränken, wohin die Herde zum Trinken kam, gerade vor die Tiere hin. Sie waren aber brünstig, als sie zur Tränke kamen. (2Mo 2,16) 39 So empfingen die Herden angesichts der Ruten, und sie warfen Gestreifte, Gesprenkelte und Gefleckte. (1Mo 31,9) 40 Die Lämmer aber sonderte Jakob ab und richtete die Tiere gegen die Gefleckten und Schwarzen in der Herde Labans aus; und er machte sich besondere Herden und tat sie nicht zu Labans Tieren. (1Mo 30,32) 41 Und es geschah, jedes Mal, wenn die Zeit kam, wo die kräftigen Tiere brünstig wurden, legte Jakob die Ruten in die Tränkrinnen vor die Augen der Tiere, damit sie über den Ruten empfingen; (1Mo 30,37) 42 wenn aber die Schwachen brünstig wurden, legte er sie nicht hinein. So erhielt Laban die Schwachen und Jakob die Starken. 43 Und der Mann wurde außerordentlich reich und bekam viele Herden, Mägde und Knechte, Kamele und Esel. And Jacob said, Thou shalt not give me any thing: if thou wilt do this thing for me, I will again feed and keep thy flock: 32 I will pass through all thy flock to day, removing from thence all the speckled and spotted cattle, and all the brown cattle among the sheep, and the spotted and speckled among the goats: and of such shall be my hire. 33 So shall my righteousness answer for me in time to come, when it shall come for my hire before thy face: every one that is not speckled and spotted among the goats, and brown among the sheep, that shall be counted stolen with me. 34 And Laban said, Behold, I would it might be according to thy word. 35 And he removed that day the he goats that were ringstraked and spotted, and all the she goats that were speckled and spotted, and every one that had some white in it, and all the brown among the sheep, and gave them into the hand of his sons. 36 And he set three days'journey betwixt himself and Jacob: and Jacob fed the rest of Laban' flocks. 37 And Jacob took him rods of green poplar, and of the hazel and chesnut tree; and pilled white strakes in them, and made the white appear which was in the rods. 38 And he set the rods which he had pilled before the flocks in the gutters in the watering troughs when the flocks came to drink, that they should conceive when they came to drink. 39 And the flocks conceived before the rods, and brought forth cattle ringstraked, speckled, and spotted. 40 And Jacob did separate the lambs, and set the faces of the flocks toward the ringstraked, and all the brown in the flock of Laban; and he put his own flocks by themselves, and put them not unto Laban' cattle. 41 And it came to pass, whensoever the stronger cattle did conceive, that Jacob laid the rods before the eyes of the cattle in the gutters, that they might conceive among the rods. 42 But when the cattle were feeble, he put them not in: so the feebler were Laban', and the stronger Jacob'. 43 And the man increased exceedingly, and had much cattle, and maidservants, and menservants, and camels, and asses.
