1 Mein Sohn, wenn du meine Worte annimmst und meine Gebote bei dir bewahrst, (5Mo 4,2; Ps 119,11; 2Tim 1,13) 2 sodass du der Weisheit dein Ohr leihst und dein Herz der Einsicht zuwendest; (Ps 119,112; Mt 13,8; Mt 13,23) 3 wenn du um Verständnis betest und um Einsicht flehst, (Ps 119,34; Jak 1,5) 4 wenn du sie suchst wie Silber und nach ihr forschst wie nach Schätzen, (Mt 13,44) 5 dann wirst du die Furcht des HERRN verstehen und die Erkenntnis Gottes erlangen. (Ps 25,12; Mt 7,14; Joh 14,6) 10 Wenn die Weisheit in dein Herz kommen wird und die Erkenntnis deiner Seele gefällt, (Ps 119,103; Ps 119,111; Phil 3,8) 11 dann wird Besonnenheit dich beschirmen, Einsicht wird dich behüten, (Ps 119,9) 12 um dich zu erretten von dem Weg des Bösen, von dem Menschen, der Verkehrtes spricht; (Ps 26,4; Spr 4,6; Spr 4,14) 13 von denen, welche die geraden Pfade verlassen, um auf den Wegen der Finsternis zu wandeln; (Jes 59,8; 1Joh 2,11) 14 die sich freuen, Böses zu tun, und frohlocken über boshafte Verkehrtheit; (Jer 11,15; Röm 1,32) 15 deren Pfade krumm sind, und die auf Abwege geraten; (Ps 125,5) 16 — damit du auch errettet wirst von der Verführerin, von der fremden Frau, die glatte Worte gibt; (Spr 5,3; Spr 5,20; Spr 7,5) 17 die den Vertrauten ihrer Jugend verlässt und den Bund ihres Gottes vergisst; (Mal 2,14) 18 denn ihr Haus führt hinab zum Tod und ihre Bahn zu den Erschlafften; (Spr 7,26) 19 alle, die zu ihr eingehen, kehren nicht wieder zurück, sie erreichen die Pfade des Lebens nicht mehr. (Pred 7,26) 20 Darum wandle du auf dem Weg der Guten und bewahre die Pfade der Gerechten! 1 My son, if you receive my words and treasure up my commandments with you, (Spr 1,8; Spr 4,1; Spr 4,10; Spr 4,20; Spr 7,1) 2 making your ear attentive to wisdom and inclining your heart to understanding; 3 yes, if you call out for insight and raise your voice for understanding, (Spr 4,1; Spr 4,5; Spr 4,7) 4 if you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures, (Hi 3,21; Spr 3,14; Mt 13,44) 5 then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. (Ps 25,14; Joh 7,17; Joh 14,21) 6 For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding; (Hi 32,8) 7 he stores up sound wisdom for the upright; he is a shield to those who walk in integrity, (Ps 3,3; Ps 84,11; Spr 30,5) 8 guarding the paths of justice and watching over the way of his saints. (1Sam 2,9; Ps 30,4; Ps 66,9; Ps 97,10) 9 Then you will understand righteousness and justice and equity, every good path; (Spr 1,3; Spr 2,5) 10 for wisdom will come into your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul; 11 discretion will watch over you, understanding will guard you, (Spr 1,4; Spr 6,22) 12 delivering you from the way of evil, from men of perverted speech, 13 who forsake the paths of uprightness to walk in the ways of darkness, (Ps 82,5; Joh 3,19) 14 who rejoice in doing evil and delight in the perverseness of evil, (Ps 50,18; Spr 10,23; Jer 11,15; Röm 1,32) 15 men whose paths are crooked, and who are devious in their ways. (Ps 125,5; Spr 3,32; Spr 14,2; Spr 21,8) 16 So you will be delivered from the forbidden[1] woman, from the adulteress[2] with her smooth words, (Ps 5,9; Spr 6,24; Spr 7,5; Spr 23,27) 17 who forsakes the companion of her youth and forgets the covenant of her God; (Ps 55,13; Jer 3,4; Mal 2,14) 18 for her house sinks down to death, and her paths to the departed;[3] (Spr 7,27) 19 none who go to her come back, nor do they regain the paths of life. 20 So you will walk in the way of the good and keep to the paths of the righteous. 21 For the upright will inhabit the land, and those with integrity will remain in it, (Spr 10,30) 22 but the wicked will be cut off from the land, and the treacherous will be rooted out of it.
