1 Darum, meine geliebten und ersehnten Brüder, meine Freude und meine Krone, steht in dieser Weise fest im Herrn, Geliebte! (Apg 11,23; Phil 1,27; Kol 1,23; 1Thess 2,19) 2 Ich ermahne Euodia und ich ermahne Syntyche, eines Sinnes zu sein im Herrn. (Phil 2,2) 3 Und ich bitte auch dich, mein treuer Mitknecht, nimm dich ihrer an, die mit mir gekämpft haben für das Evangelium, samt Clemens und meinen übrigen Mitarbeitern, deren Namen im Buch des Lebens sind. (Ps 69,29; Dan 12,1; Lk 10,20; Röm 16,1) 4 Freut euch im Herrn allezeit; abermals sage ich: Freut euch! (Jes 61,10; Lk 10,20; Apg 16,34; 2Kor 13,11; Phil 1,18; Phil 2,17; 1Petr 1,8) 5 Eure Sanftmut lasst alle Menschen erfahren! Der Herr ist nahe! (Eph 4,1; Tit 3,2; Hebr 10,37; Jak 5,8) 6 Sorgt euch um nichts; sondern in allem lasst durch Gebet und Flehen mit Danksagung eure Anliegen vor Gott kundwerden. (Ps 55,23; Mt 6,25; Kol 4,2; 1Petr 5,7) 7 Und der Friede Gottes, der allen Verstand übersteigt, wird eure Herzen und eure Gedanken bewahren in Christus Jesus! (Joh 14,27; Röm 15,13; Eph 3,19; Kol 3,15) 8 Im Übrigen, ihr Brüder, alles, was wahrhaftig, was ehrbar, was gerecht, was rein, was liebenswert, was wohllautend, was irgendeine Tugend oder etwas Lobenswertes ist, darauf seid bedacht! (Ps 11,7; Ps 19,15; Spr 31,26; Mt 5,9; Röm 12,17; 2Kor 6,3; 2Kor 8,21; Eph 6,14; Tit 1,15; 1Joh 5,20) 9 Was ihr auch gelernt und empfangen und gehört und an mir gesehen habt, das tut; und der Gott des Friedens wird mit euch sein. (Röm 15,33; Phil 3,17; 1Thess 5,23; Hebr 13,20) 



10 Ich habe mich aber sehr gefreut im Herrn, dass ihr euch wieder so weit erholt habt, um für mich sorgen zu können; ihr habt auch sonst daran gedacht, aber ihr wart nicht in der Lage dazu. (2Kor 11,9) 11 Nicht wegen des Mangels sage ich das; ich habe nämlich gelernt, mit der Lage zufrieden zu sein, in der ich mich befinde. (1Tim 6,6) 12 Denn ich verstehe mich aufs Armsein, ich verstehe mich aber auch aufs Reichsein; ich bin mit allem und jedem vertraut, sowohl satt zu sein als auch zu hungern, sowohl Überfluss zu haben als auch Mangel zu leiden. (1Kor 4,11; 1Kor 7,31) 13 Ich vermag alles durch den, der mich stark macht, Christus. (2Kor 3,5; Kol 1,11) 14 Doch habt ihr recht gehandelt, dass ihr Anteil nahmt an meiner Bedrängnis. (3Joh 1,5) 15 Und ihr Philipper wisst ja auch, dass am Anfang [der Verkündigung] des Evangeliums, als ich von Mazedonien aufbrach, keine Gemeinde mit mir Gemeinschaft gehabt hat im Geben und Nehmen als ihr allein; (2Kor 11,8) 16 denn auch nach Thessalonich habt ihr mir einmal, und sogar zweimal, etwas zur Deckung meiner Bedürfnisse gesandt. (Phil 4,10; 1Thess 2,9) 17 Nicht dass ich nach der Gabe verlange, sondern ich verlange danach, dass die Frucht reichlich ausfalle auf eurer Rechnung. (Mt 10,42; 2Kor 9,6; Tit 3,14) 18 Ich habe alles und habe Überfluss; ich bin völlig versorgt, seitdem ich von Epaphroditus eure Gabe empfangen habe, einen lieblichen Wohlgeruch, ein angenehmes Opfer, Gott wohlgefällig. (3Mo 2,2; 3Mo 2,9; Joh 12,3; Phil 2,25; Hebr 13,16) 19 Mein Gott aber wird allen euren Mangel ausfüllen nach seinem Reichtum in Herrlichkeit in Christus Jesus. (Ps 23,1; Ps 37,25; Spr 8,21; Röm 8,32) 20 Unserem Gott und Vater aber sei die Ehre von Ewigkeit zu Ewigkeit! Amen. (Röm 16,27; Gal 1,5) 



21 Grüßt jeden Heiligen in Christus Jesus! Es grüßen euch die Brüder, die bei mir sind. (Röm 16,3) 22 Es grüßen euch alle Heiligen, besonders die aus dem Haus des Kaisers. (Phil 1,13) 23 Die Gnade unseres Herrn Jesus Christus sei mit euch allen! Amen. (Gal 6,18)

1 Therefore, my brothers,[1] whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, stand firm thus in the Lord, my beloved. (Spr 16,31; Spr 17,6; 2Kor 1,14; Phil 1,4; Phil 1,8; Phil 1,27; Phil 2,16) 



2 I entreat Euodia and I entreat Syntyche to agree in the Lord. (Phil 2,2) 3 Yes, I ask you also, true companion,[2] help these women, who have labored[3] side by side with me in the gospel together with Clement and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life. (Lk 10,20) 4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. (Phil 3,1) 5 Let your reasonableness[4] be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; (Jak 5,8) 6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. (Spr 16,3; Mt 6,25; Röm 1,8) 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Jes 26,3; Joh 14,27; Eph 3,19; Phil 4,9; Kol 3,15) 8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. 9 What you have learned[5] and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you. (Röm 15,33; Phil 3,17; Phil 4,7; 1Thess 4,1) 



10 I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at length you have revived your concern for me. You were indeed concerned for me, but you had no opportunity. (2Kor 11,9; Phil 2,30) 11 Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. (2Kor 9,8; 1Tim 6,6; 1Tim 6,8; Hebr 13,5) 12 I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. (1Kor 4,11; 2Kor 11,9; 2Kor 11,27) 13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me. (2Kor 12,9; Eph 3,16; 1Tim 1,12) 14 Yet it was kind of you to share[6] my trouble. (Phil 1,7; Offb 1,9) 15 And you Philippians yourselves know that in the beginning of the gospel, when I left Macedonia, no church entered into partnership with me in giving and receiving, except you only. (2Kor 11,8; Phil 1,5) 16 Even in Thessalonica you sent me help for my needs once and again. 17 Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that increases to your credit.[7] (Röm 1,13; 2Kor 9,5; Tit 3,14) 18 I have received full payment, and more. I am well supplied, having received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent, a fragrant offering, a sacrifice acceptable and pleasing to God. (1Mo 8,21; Phil 2,25; Hebr 13,16) 19 And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (Ps 23,1; Röm 2,4; 2Kor 9,8) 20 To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen. (Röm 11,36; Gal 1,4; Gal 1,5; 1Thess 1,3; 1Thess 3,11; 1Thess 3,13) 



21 Greet every saint in Christ Jesus. The brothers who are with me greet you. (Gal 1,2) 22 All the saints greet you, especially those of Caesar’s household. (2Kor 13,13) 23 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. (Röm 16,20)
