Schlachter 2000



1 Es war aber zwei Tage vor dem Passah und dem Fest der ungesäuerten Brote. Und die obersten Priester und die Schriftgelehrten suchten, wie sie ihn mit List ergreifen und töten könnten; (2Mo 12,1; 3Mo 23,5; 1Kön 5,6; Ps 56,6; Mt 26,3) 2 sie sprachen aber: Nicht während des Festes, damit kein Aufruhr unter dem Volk entsteht! (Mk 12,12) 



3 Und als er in Bethanien im Haus Simons des Aussätzigen war und zu Tisch saß, da kam eine Frau mit einem Alabasterfläschchen voll Salböl, echter, kostbarer Narde; und sie zerbrach das Alabasterfläschchen und goss es aus auf sein Haupt. (Ps 23,5; Mk 11,1; Mk 11,11; Lk 7,46; Joh 12,3) 4 Es wurden aber etliche unwillig bei sich selbst und sprachen: Wozu ist diese Verschwendung des Salböls geschehen? (Joh 12,4; Röm 14,1; Röm 14,10) 5 Man hätte dies doch um mehr als 300 Denare verkaufen und den Armen geben können! Und sie murrten über sie. (Mt 20,2; Joh 12,5; Eph 4,31) 6 Jesus aber sprach: Lasst sie! Warum bekümmert ihr sie? Sie hat ein gutes Werk an mir getan. 7 Denn die Armen habt ihr allezeit bei euch, und ihr könnt ihnen Gutes tun, wann immer ihr wollt; mich aber habt ihr nicht allezeit. (Mk 2,20) 8 Sie hat getan, was sie konnte; sie hat meinen Leib im Voraus zum Begräbnis gesalbt. (1Chr 29,2; Esr 2,69; 2Kor 8,12) 9 Wahrlich, ich sage euch: Wo immer dieses Evangelium verkündigt wird in der ganzen Welt, da wird man auch von dem sprechen, was diese getan hat, zu ihrem Gedenken! (1Sam 2,30; Mt 10,40) 



10 Da ging Judas Ischariot, einer von den Zwölfen, hin zu den obersten Priestern, um ihn an sie zu verraten. (Lk 22,3) 11 Sie aber waren erfreut, als sie das hörten, und versprachen, ihm Geld zu geben. Und er suchte eine gute Gelegenheit, um ihn zu verraten. (1Tim 6,9) 



12 Und am ersten Tag der ungesäuerten Brote, als man das Passahlamm schlachtete, sprachen seine Jünger zu ihm: Wo willst du, dass wir hingehen und das Passah zubereiten, damit du es essen kannst? (2Mo 12,6; 2Mo 12,18) 13 Und er sendet zwei seiner Jünger und spricht zu ihnen: Geht in die Stadt; da wird euch ein Mensch begegnen, der einen Wasserkrug trägt; dem folgt, 14 und wo er hineingeht, da sagt zu dem Hausherrn: Der Meister lässt fragen: Wo ist das Gastzimmer, in dem ich mit meinen Jüngern das Passah essen kann? 15 Und er wird euch einen großen Obersaal zeigen, der mit Polstern belegt und hergerichtet ist; dort bereitet es für uns zu. (Apg 1,13; Apg 20,8) 16 Und seine Jünger gingen hin und kamen in die Stadt und fanden es, wie er ihnen gesagt hatte; und sie bereiteten das Passah. (Ps 33,9) 17 Und als es Abend geworden war, kam er mit den Zwölfen. (Lk 22,14) 18 Und als sie zu Tisch saßen und aßen, sprach Jesus: Wahrlich, ich sage euch: Einer von euch, der mit mir isst, wird mich verraten! (Ps 41,10; Joh 13,21) 19 Da fingen sie an, betrübt zu werden, und fragten ihn einer nach dem anderen: Doch nicht ich? Und der Nächste: Doch nicht ich? 20 Er aber antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Einer von den Zwölfen, der mit mir [das Brot] in die Schüssel eintaucht! (Ps 55,13; Joh 6,70) 21 Der Sohn des Menschen geht zwar dahin, wie von ihm geschrieben steht; aber wehe jenem Menschen, durch den der Sohn des Menschen verraten wird! Es wäre für jenen Menschen besser, wenn er nicht geboren wäre! (Joh 17,12) 



22 Und während sie aßen, nahm Jesus Brot, sprach den Segen, brach es, gab es ihnen und sprach: Nehmt, esst! Das ist mein Leib. (Joh 6,48) 23 Und er nahm den Kelch, dankte und gab ihnen denselben; und sie tranken alle daraus. 24 Und er sprach zu ihnen: Das ist mein Blut, das des neuen Bundes, welches für viele vergossen wird. (Röm 5,19; Hebr 12,24; 1Petr 1,18) 25 Wahrlich, ich sage euch: Ich werde nicht mehr von dem Gewächs des Weinstocks trinken bis zu jenem Tag, da ich es neu trinken werde im Reich Gottes. (Lk 22,18; Lk 22,30) 



26 Und nachdem sie den Lobgesang gesungen hatten, gingen sie hinaus an den Ölberg. (Ps 113,1) 27 Und Jesus spricht zu ihnen: Ihr werdet in dieser Nacht alle an mir Anstoß nehmen; denn es steht geschrieben: »Ich werde den Hirten schlagen, und die Schafe werden sich zerstreuen«.[1] (Sach 13,7; Mk 14,50) 28 Aber nach meiner Auferweckung will ich euch nach Galiläa vorangehen. (Mk 16,7) 29 Petrus aber sagte zu ihm: Wenn auch alle an dir Anstoß nehmen, doch nicht ich! 30 Und Jesus spricht zu ihm: Wahrlich, ich sage dir: Heute, in dieser Nacht, ehe der Hahn zweimal kräht, wirst du mich dreimal verleugnen! (Joh 18,17) 31 Er aber sagte desto mehr: Wenn ich auch mit dir sterben müsste, werde ich dich nicht verleugnen! Das Gleiche sagten aber auch alle. (5Mo 5,27; Ps 30,7; Jer 17,9; 1Kor 10,12) 



32 Und sie kommen zu einem Grundstück namens Gethsemane. Und er spricht zu seinen Jüngern: Setzt euch hier hin, bis ich gebetet habe! (Joh 18,1) 33 Und er nahm Petrus und Jakobus und Johannes mit sich; und er fing an, zu erschrecken, und ihm graute sehr. (Hi 6,4; Mk 5,37; Mk 9,2; Joh 12,27; Hebr 4,15) 34 Und er sprach zu ihnen: Meine Seele ist tief betrübt bis zum Tod. Bleibt hier und wacht! (Röm 15,30) 35 Und er ging ein wenig weiter, warf sich auf die Erde und betete, dass, wenn es möglich wäre, die Stunde an ihm vorüberginge. 36 Und er sprach: Abba, Vater! Alles ist dir möglich; nimm diesen Kelch von mir! Doch nicht, was ich will, sondern was du willst! (Mk 10,38) 37 Und er kommt und findet sie schlafend. Und er spricht zu Petrus: Simon, schläfst du? Konntest du nicht eine Stunde wachen? (Mk 14,40) 38 Wacht und betet, damit ihr nicht in Versuchung kommt! Der Geist ist willig, aber das Fleisch ist schwach. (Lk 21,36; Gal 5,17; 1Petr 4,7; 1Petr 5,8) 39 Und er ging wiederum hin, betete und sprach dieselben Worte. (Mt 26,44; Lk 22,44; 2Kor 12,8) 40 Und als er zurückkam, fand er sie wieder schlafend; denn die Augen waren ihnen schwer geworden. Und sie wussten nicht, was sie ihm antworten sollten. (1Mo 44,16) 41 Und er kommt zum dritten Mal und spricht zu ihnen: Schlaft ihr noch immer und ruht? — Es ist genug! Die Stunde ist gekommen. Siehe, der Sohn des Menschen wird in die Hände der Sünder ausgeliefert. (Mk 10,33; Joh 7,30; Joh 13,1; Joh 17,1) 42 Steht auf, lasst uns gehen! Siehe, der mich verrät, ist nahe. (Joh 18,2) 



43 Und sogleich, als er noch redete, erschien Judas, der einer der Zwölf war, und mit ihm eine große Schar mit Schwertern und Stöcken, [gesandt] von den obersten Priestern und den Schriftgelehrten und den Ältesten. (Mk 14,48) 44 Der ihn verriet, hatte ihnen aber ein Zeichen gegeben und gesagt: Der, den ich küssen werde, der ist’s; den ergreift und führt ihn sicher ab! 45 Und als er nun kam, trat er sogleich auf ihn zu und sprach: Rabbi, Rabbi!, und küsste ihn. (Ps 55,21; Spr 27,6) 46 Sie aber legten ihre Hände an ihn und nahmen ihn fest. (Apg 2,23) 47 Einer aber von denen, die dabeistanden, zog das Schwert, schlug den Knecht des Hohenpriesters und hieb ihm ein Ohr ab. (Joh 18,10) 48 Und Jesus begann und sprach zu ihnen: Wie gegen einen Räuber seid ihr ausgezogen mit Schwertern und Stöcken, um mich gefangen zu nehmen? 49 Täglich war ich bei euch im Tempel und lehrte, und ihr habt mich nicht ergriffen. Doch damit die Schriften erfüllt werden —! (Lk 19,47; Lk 24,46) 50 Da verließen ihn alle und flohen. (Hi 19,14; Sach 13,7; Mk 14,27; Joh 16,32) 51 Und ein gewisser junger Mann folgte ihm, der ein Leinengewand auf dem bloßen Leib trug; und die jungen Männer ergriffen ihn, 52 er aber ließ das Leinengewand zurück, und entblößt floh er von ihnen. (1Mo 39,11) 



53 Und sie führten Jesus ab zum Hohenpriester; und alle obersten Priester und die Ältesten und die Schriftgelehrten kamen bei ihm zusammen. 54 Und Petrus folgte ihm von ferne bis hinein in den Hof des Hohenpriesters; und er saß bei den Dienern und wärmte sich am Feuer. (Joh 18,15) 55 Die obersten Priester aber und der ganze Hohe Rat suchten ein Zeugnis gegen Jesus, um ihn zu töten, und sie fanden keines. (Ps 94,21; Jer 20,10) 56 Denn viele legten ein falsches Zeugnis gegen ihn ab, doch stimmten die Zeugnisse nicht überein. (Ps 35,11) 57 Und es standen etliche auf, legten ein falsches Zeugnis gegen ihn ab und sprachen: (1Kön 21,9) 58 Wir haben ihn sagen hören: Ich will diesen mit Händen gemachten Tempel zerstören und in drei Tagen einen anderen aufbauen, der nicht mit Händen gemacht ist. (Mk 15,29; Joh 2,19) 59 Aber auch so war ihr Zeugnis nicht übereinstimmend. 60 Und der Hohepriester stand auf, trat in die Mitte, fragte Jesus und sprach: Antwortest du nichts auf das, was diese gegen dich aussagen? (Joh 19,10) 61 Er aber schwieg und antwortete nichts. Wieder fragte ihn der Hohepriester und sagte zu ihm: Bist du der Christus[2], der Sohn des Hochgelobten? (Ps 39,10; Jes 53,7; Mk 15,3) 62 Jesus aber sprach: Ich bin’s. Und ihr werdet den Sohn des Menschen sitzen sehen zur Rechten der Macht und kommen mit den Wolken des Himmels! (Ps 110,1; Mt 24,30; Lk 22,69; Apg 1,11; Offb 1,7) 63 Da zerriss der Hohepriester seine Kleider und sagte: Was brauchen wir weitere Zeugen? (Apg 14,13) 64 Ihr habt die Lästerung gehört. Was meint ihr? Und sie fällten alle das Urteil, dass er des Todes schuldig sei. (3Mo 24,16; Joh 19,7) 65 Und etliche fingen an, ihn anzuspucken und sein Angesicht zu verhüllen und ihn mit Fäusten zu schlagen und zu ihm zu sagen: Weissage! Und die Diener schlugen ihn ins Angesicht. (Jes 50,6; Mk 15,18) 



66 Und während Petrus unten im Hof war, kam eine von den Mägden des Hohenpriesters. (Mk 14,54) 67 Und als sie Petrus sah, der sich wärmte, blickte sie ihn an und sprach: Auch du warst mit Jesus, dem Nazarener! (Mk 10,47; Apg 10,38) 68 Er aber leugnete und sprach: Ich weiß nicht und verstehe auch nicht, was du sagst! Und er ging in den Vorhof hinaus, und der Hahn krähte. (Spr 29,25; Mk 14,31; 1Kor 10,12) 69 Und als die Magd ihn sah, begann sie wieder und sprach zu den Umstehenden: Dieser ist einer von ihnen! (Mk 14,38; Gal 6,1) 70 Er aber leugnete wiederum. Und ein wenig nachher sprachen die Umstehenden nochmals zu Petrus: Wahrhaftig, du bist einer von ihnen! Denn du bist ein Galiläer, und deine Sprache ist gleich. (Apg 2,7) 71 Er aber fing an, [sich] zu verfluchen und zu schwören: Ich kenne diesen Menschen nicht, von dem ihr redet! 72 Da krähte der Hahn zum zweiten Mal; und Petrus erinnerte sich an das Wort, das Jesus zu ihm gesagt hatte: Ehe der Hahn zweimal kräht, wirst du mich dreimal verleugnen. Und er begann zu weinen. (2Kön 20,5; 2Kön 22,19; Mt 26,75; Mk 14,30; Lk 22,62; 2Kor 7,10)

1 It was now two days before the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread. And the chief priests and the scribes were seeking how to arrest him by stealth and kill him, (Mt 21,46; Mt 26,2; Lk 22,1; Joh 6,4; Joh 11,53) 2 for they said, “Not during the feast, lest there be an uproar from the people.” (Mt 27,24) 



3 And while he was at Bethany in the house of Simon the leper,[1] as he was reclining at table, a woman came with an alabaster flask of ointment of pure nard, very costly, and she broke the flask and poured it over his head. (Mt 21,17; Mt 26,6; Lk 7,37; Joh 11,18; Joh 12,1) 4 There were some who said to themselves indignantly, “Why was the ointment wasted like that? 5 For this ointment could have been sold for more than three hundred denarii[2] and given to the poor.” And they scolded her. (Joh 11,33; Joh 11,38; Joh 13,29) 6 But Jesus said, “Leave her alone. Why do you trouble her? She has done a beautiful thing to me. 7 For you always have the poor with you, and whenever you want, you can do good for them. But you will not always have me. (5Mo 15,11; Mk 2,20; Joh 7,33; 2Kor 9,7) 8 She has done what she could; she has anointed my body beforehand for burial. 10 Then Judas Iscariot, who was one of the twelve, went to the chief priests in order to betray him to them. 12 And on the first day of Unleavened Bread, when they sacrificed the Passover lamb, his disciples said to him, “Where will you have us go and prepare for you to eat the Passover?” (2Mo 12,18; Mt 26,17; Lk 22,7; 1Kor 5,7) 13 And he sent two of his disciples and said to them, “Go into the city, and a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him, (Mk 11,1) 14 and wherever he enters, say to the master of the house, ‘The Teacher says, Where is my guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?’ (Lk 2,7; Joh 11,28) 15 And he will show you a large upper room furnished and ready; there prepare for us.” (Apg 1,13) 16 And the disciples set out and went to the city and found it just as he had told them, and they prepared the Passover. 17 And when it was evening, he came with the twelve. (Mt 26,20; Lk 22,14; Lk 22,21; Joh 13,21) 18 And as they were reclining at table and eating, Jesus said, “Truly, I say to you, one of you will betray me, one who is eating with me.” (Ps 41,9; Joh 6,70; Joh 13,18) 19 They began to be sorrowful and to say to him one after another, “Is it I?” 20 He said to them, “It is one of the twelve, one who is dipping bread into the dish with me. 22 And as they were eating, he took bread, and after blessing it broke it and gave it to them, and said, “Take; this is my body.” (Mt 14,19; Mt 26,26; Lk 22,18; Joh 6,53; 1Kor 10,16; 1Kor 11,23) 23 And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he gave it to them, and they all drank of it. 26 And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives. 32 And they went to a place called Gethsemane. And he said to his disciples, “Sit here while I pray.” (Mt 26,36; Mk 14,26; Lk 22,40) 33 And he took with him Peter and James and John, and began to be greatly distressed and troubled. (Mt 17,23; Mk 5,37; Mk 9,2) 34 And he said to them, “My soul is very sorrowful, even to death. Remain here and watch.”[4] (Ps 42,5; Mt 24,42; Joh 12,27) 35 And going a little farther, he fell on the ground and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him. (Mk 14,41; Lk 22,53; Joh 12,23; Joh 12,27; Joh 13,1; Joh 16,4; Joh 17,1; Hebr 5,7) 36 And he said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible for you. Remove this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.” (Mt 19,26; Mk 10,38; Joh 5,30; Joh 6,38; Röm 8,15; Gal 4,6; Phil 2,8) 37 And he came and found them sleeping, and he said to Peter, “Simon, are you asleep? Could you not watch one hour? 38 Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” (Mt 6,13; Mk 14,34; 1Petr 4,7) 39 And again he went away and prayed, saying the same words. (Mk 14,36) 40 And again he came and found them sleeping, for their eyes were very heavy, and they did not know what to answer him. (Mk 9,6; Lk 9,32; Lk 9,33) 41 And he came the third time and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and taking your rest? It is enough; the hour has come. The Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. (Mk 9,31; Mk 10,33; Mk 14,35; Lk 22,38) 42 Rise, let us be going; see, my betrayer is at hand.” 



43 And immediately, while he was still speaking, Judas came, one of the twelve, and with him a crowd with swords and clubs, from the chief priests and the scribes and the elders. (Mt 26,47; Mk 14,10; Lk 22,47; Joh 18,3; Apg 1,16) 44 Now the betrayer had given them a sign, saying, “The one I will kiss is the man. Seize him and lead him away under guard.” 45 And when he came, he went up to him at once and said, “Rabbi!” And he kissed him. (Lk 7,38; Lk 7,45; Lk 15,20; Joh 1,38; Apg 20,37) 46 And they laid hands on him and seized him. 47 But one of those who stood by drew his sword and struck the servant[5] of the high priest and cut off his ear. (Lk 22,38) 48 And Jesus said to them, “Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs to capture me? 49 Day after day I was with you in the temple teaching, and you did not seize me. But let the Scriptures be fulfilled.” (Mt 1,22; Mt 4,23; Mt 21,23; Mk 14,21; Lk 2,46; Joh 8,2; Joh 18,20) 50 And they all left him and fled. (Ps 88,8; Ps 88,18; Mk 14,27; Joh 16,32) 



51 And a young man followed him, with nothing but a linen cloth about his body. And they seized him, (Ri 14,12; Spr 31,24; Mk 15,46) 52 but he left the linen cloth and ran away naked. 



53 And they led Jesus to the high priest. And all the chief priests and the elders and the scribes came together. (Mt 26,57; Lk 22,54; Joh 18,12; Joh 18,19) 54 And Peter had followed him at a distance, right into the courtyard of the high priest. And he was sitting with the guards and warming himself at the fire. (Mt 26,3; Mk 14,53; Mk 14,67; Mk 14,68; Joh 7,32; Joh 18,3; Joh 18,15; Joh 18,18) 55 Now the chief priests and the whole council[6] were seeking testimony against Jesus to put him to death, but they found none. 56 For many bore false witness against him, but their testimony did not agree. (5Mo 17,6; 5Mo 19,15; Ps 27,12; Ps 35,11) 57 And some stood up and bore false witness against him, saying, 58 “We heard him say, ‘I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and in three days I will build another, not made with hands.’” (Mk 15,29; Joh 2,19; Apg 6,14; Apg 7,48; Apg 17,24; 2Kor 5,1; Hebr 9,11; Hebr 9,24) 59 Yet even about this their testimony did not agree. 60 And the high priest stood up in the midst and asked Jesus, “Have you no answer to make? What is it that these men testify against you?”[7] 61 But he remained silent and made no answer. Again the high priest asked him, “Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?” (Jes 53,7; Mt 1,17; Mk 8,29; Mk 15,4; Lk 22,67; Joh 19,9; Röm 1,25) 62 And Jesus said, “I am, and you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.” (Ps 110,1; Mt 16,27; Mt 24,30; Mk 16,19; Hebr 1,3) 63 And the high priest tore his garments and said, “What further witnesses do we need? (4Mo 14,6; Apg 14,14) 64 You have heard his blasphemy. What is your decision?” And they all condemned him as deserving death. (3Mo 24,16; Mt 9,3; Lk 23,50; Joh 10,36) 65 And some began to spit on him and to cover his face and to strike him, saying to him, “Prophesy!” And the guards received him with blows. 66 And as Peter was below in the courtyard, one of the servant girls of the high priest came, (Mt 26,69; Lk 22,55; Joh 18,16; Joh 18,25) 67 and seeing Peter warming himself, she looked at him and said, “You also were with the Nazarene, Jesus.” (Mk 14,54) 68 But he denied it, saying, “I neither know nor understand what you mean.” And he went out into the gateway[8] and the rooster crowed.[9] (Mk 14,30; Mk 14,72) 69 And the servant girl saw him and began again to say to the bystanders, “This man is one of them.” 70 But again he denied it. And after a little while the bystanders again said to Peter, “Certainly you are one of them, for you are a Galilean.” 71 But he began to invoke a curse on himself and to swear, “I do not know this man of whom you speak.” 72 And immediately the rooster crowed a second time. And Peter remembered how Jesus had said to him, “Before the rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times.” And he broke down and wept.[10] (Mk 14,30; Mk 14,68; Apg 3,13)
