1Und es geschah danach, dass er von Stadt zu Stadt und von Dorf zu Dorf zog, wobei er das Evangelium vom Reich Gottes verkündigte; und die Zwölf waren mit ihm, (Mt 9,35)2und auch etliche Frauen, die von bösen Geistern und Krankheiten geheilt worden waren: Maria, genannt Magdalena, von der sieben Dämonen ausgefahren waren, (Mt 27,55)3und Johanna, die Frau Chusas, eines Verwalters des Herodes, und Susanna und viele andere, die ihm dienten mit ihrer Habe. Das Gleichnis vom Sämann
4Als nun eine große Menge zusammenkam und sie aus den Städten zu ihm zogen, sprach er in einem Gleichnis: (Mk 4,1)5Der Sämann ging aus, um seinen Samen zu säen. Und als er säte, fiel etliches an den Weg und wurde zertreten, und die Vögel des Himmels fraßen es auf. Der Grund für die Gleichnisreden
9Da fragten ihn seine Jünger und sprachen: Was bedeutet wohl dieses Gleichnis?10Er aber sprach: Euch ist es gegeben, die Geheimnisse des Reiches Gottes zu erkennen, den anderen aber in Gleichnissen, damit sie sehen und doch nicht sehen und hören und doch nicht verstehen. (Joh 15,15)
Die Deutung des Gleichnisses vom Sämann
11Das Gleichnis aber bedeutet dies: Der Same ist das Wort Gottes. (Jak 1,21)12Die am Weg sind die, welche es hören; danach kommt der Teufel und nimmt das Wort von ihren Herzen weg, damit sie nicht zum Glauben gelangen und gerettet werden. (Joh 8,44; Apg 13,8; Hebr 2,1; Jak 1,23)13Die aber auf dem Felsen sind die, welche das Wort, wenn sie es hören, mit Freuden aufnehmen; aber sie haben keine Wurzel; sie glauben nur eine Zeit lang, und zur Zeit der Versuchung fallen sie ab. (Ps 106,12; Hos 6,4; Joh 6,66)14Was aber unter die Dornen fiel, das sind die, welche es gehört haben; aber sie gehen hin und werden von Sorgen und Reichtum und Vergnügungen des Lebens erstickt und bringen die Frucht nicht zur Reife. Das Licht auf dem Leuchter
16Niemand aber, der ein Licht anzündet, bedeckt es mit einem Gefäß oder stellt es unter ein Bett, sondern er setzt es auf einen Leuchter, damit die, welche hereinkommen, das Licht sehen. (Mk 4,21; 2Kor 4,6; Phil 2,15)17Denn nichts ist verborgen, das nicht offenbar werden wird, und nichts ist geheim, das nicht bekannt werden und an den Tag kommen wird. Die wahren Verwandten Jesu
19Es kamen aber seine Mutter und seine Brüder zu ihm, und sie konnten wegen der Volksmenge nicht zu ihm gelangen.20Und man berichtete es ihm und sagte: Deine Mutter und deine Brüder stehen draußen und wollen dich sehen! (Joh 7,3; Apg 1,14; 1Kor 9,5; Gal 1,19)21Er aber antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Meine Mutter und meine Brüder sind die, welche das Wort Gottes hören und es tun! (Lk 11,28; Joh 20,17; Hebr 2,11)
Jesus stillt den Sturm
22Und es geschah an einem der Tage, dass er und seine Jünger in ein Schiff stiegen; und er sprach zu ihnen: Lasst uns ans andere Ufer des Sees fahren! Und sie fuhren ab.23Auf der Fahrt aber schlief er ein. Da fiel ein Sturmwind auf den See, und [das Schiff] füllte sich, und sie waren in Gefahr. Heilung eines Besessenen
26Und sie fuhren in das Gebiet der Gadarener, das Galiläa gegenüberliegt.27Und als er ans Land gestiegen war, kam ihm ein Besessener aus der Stadt entgegen, der seit langer Zeit Dämonen hatte und keine Kleider mehr trug und sich auch in keinem Haus aufhielt, sondern in den Gräbern. The Parable of the Sower
