David wird König von ganz Israel und zieht nach Jerusalem

4 David war 30 Jahre alt, als er König wurde, und er regierte 40 Jahre lang. (1Chr 29,27; Lk 3,23) 5 In Hebron regierte er über Juda sieben Jahre und sechs Monate; aber in Jerusalem regierte er über ganz Israel und Juda 33 Jahre. 8 Und David sprach an jenem Tag: Wer die Jebusiter schlägt und die Wasserleitung erreicht und die Lahmen und Blinden, denen die Seele Davids feind ist, [dem wird eine Belohnung zuteil].^[1] Daher sagt man: »Es darf kein Blinder oder Lahmer ins Haus kommen!« (3Mo 21,18; 1Chr 11,6; Mt 21,14) 9 Und David wohnte in der Burg und nannte sie »Stadt Davids«. 11 Und Hiram, der König von Tyrus, sandte Boten zu David und Zedernstämme und Zimmerleute und Maurer, und sie bauten David ein Haus. Doppelter Sieg Davids über die Philister

17 Als aber die Philister hörten, dass man David zum König über Israel gesalbt hatte, da zogen sie alle herauf, um David herauszufordern. Als David dies erfuhr, zog er zur Bergfeste hinab. (1Sam 22,1; 2Sam 23,14; Ps 91,2) 18 Die Philister aber waren gekommen und breiteten sich aus im Tal der Rephaiter. Da sprach er: Ziehe nicht hinauf, sondern umgehe sie und falle ihnen in den Rücken, dass du von den Balsambäumen her an sie herankommst. (Jos 8,2; Jos 8,7; 2Sam 5,19) 24 Und wenn du in den Wipfeln der Balsambäume das Geräusch eines Einherschreitens hören wirst, dann beeile dich; denn dann ist der HERR vor dir hergezogen, um das Heer der Philister zu schlagen! David Anointed King of Israel

1 Then all the tribes of Israel came to David at Hebron and said, “Behold, we are your bone and flesh. 4 David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years. 10 And David became greater and greater, for the Lord, the God of hosts, was with him. 11 And Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, and cedar trees, also carpenters and masons who built David a house. (1Chr 14,1) 12 And David knew that the Lord had established him king over Israel, and that he had exalted his kingdom for the sake of his people Israel. 13 And David took more concubines and wives from Jerusalem, after he came from Hebron, and more sons and daughters were born to David. David Defeats the Philistines

17 When the Philistines heard that David had been anointed king over Israel, all the Philistines went up to search for David. But David heard of it and went down to the stronghold. (1Sam 22,4; 2Sam 23,14) 18 Now the Philistines had come and spread out in the Valley of Rephaim. (Jos 15,8; Jos 17,15; Jos 18,16; 2Sam 5,22; 2Sam 23,13)

19 And David inquired of the Lord, “Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will you give them into my hand?” And the Lord said to David, “Go up, for I will certainly give the Philistines into your hand.” (2Sam 2,1) 20 And David came to Baal-perazim, and David defeated them there. And he said, “The Lord has broken through my enemies before me like a breaking flood.” Therefore the name of that place is called Baal-perazim.^[3] (Jes 28,21) 21 And the Philistines left their idols there, and David and his men carried them away. 22 And the Philistines came up yet again and spread out in the Valley of Rephaim. (2Sam 5,18) 23 And when David inquired of the Lord, he said, “You shall not go up; go around to their rear, and come against them opposite the balsam trees.
