1Und Abram zog mit seiner Frau und mit allem, was er hatte, auch mit Lot, von Ägypten hinauf in den Negev[1]. (1Mo 24,35; 1Mo 32,10; 1Mo 36,7; Hi 1,3; Spr 3,9; Spr 10,22; Mt 6,33)3Und er zog weiter von einem Lagerplatz zum anderen, vom Negev her bis nach Bethel, bis zu dem Ort, wo sein Zelt zuerst gestanden hatte, zwischen Bethel und Ai,4an die Stätte des Altars, den er dort zuerst errichtet hatte; und Abram rief dort den Namen des HERRN an. (1Mo 12,7; Ps 112,1; Ps 116,2; Ps 116,13; Ps 116,17)5Aber auch Lot, der mit Abram ging, hatte Schafe, Rinder und Zelte. (1Mo 11,27)6Und das Land ertrug es nicht, dass sie beieinanderwohnten; denn ihre Habe war groß, und sie konnten nicht beieinanderbleiben. (1Mo 13,2)7Und es entstand Streit zwischen den Hirten über Abrams Vieh und den Hirten über Lots Vieh; auch wohnten zu der Zeit die Kanaaniter und Pheresiter im Land. Gott erneuert seine Verheißungen an Abram
14Der HERR aber sprach zu Abram, nachdem sich Lot von ihm getrennt hatte: Hebe doch deine Augen auf und schaue von dem Ort, wo du wohnst, nach Norden, Süden, Osten und Westen! (1Mo 13,10; 1Mo 18,2; 1Mo 22,4; 5Mo 3,27; Ps 121,1)15Denn das ganze Land, das du siehst, will ich dir und deinem Samen[3] geben auf ewig. (1Mo 12,7; 1Mo 15,18; 2Chr 20,7)16Und ich will deinen Samen machen wie den Staub auf der Erde; wenn ein Mensch den Staub auf der Erde zählen kann, so soll man auch deinen Samen zählen können. (1Mo 22,16; 1Kön 4,20; Hebr 11,12)17Mach dich auf, durchziehe das Land seiner Länge und Breite nach! Denn dir will ich es geben. Abram and Lot Separate
1So Abram went up from Egypt, he and his wife and all that he had, and Lot with him, into the Negeb. (1Mo 12,9)2Now Abram was very rich in livestock, in silver, and in gold. (1Mo 24,35; Ps 112,1; Spr 10,22)3And he journeyed on from the Negeb as far as Bethel to the place where his tent had been at the beginning, between Bethel and Ai,4to the place where he had made an altar at the first. And there Abram called upon the name of the Lord. (1Mo 12,7)5And Lot, who went with Abram, also had flocks and herds and tents,6so that the land could not support both of them dwelling together; for their possessions were so great that they could not dwell together, (1Mo 36,6)7and there was strife between the herdsmen of Abram’s livestock and the herdsmen of Lot’s livestock. At that time the Canaanites and the Perizzites were dwelling in the land.
