1 Dios es nuestro amparo y nuestra fortaleza, nuestra ayuda segura en momentos de angustia. 2 Por eso, no temeremos aunque se desmorone la tierra y las montañas se hundan en el fondo del mar; 3 aunque rujan y se encrespen sus aguas, y ante su furia retiemblen los montes. Selah 4 Hay un río cuyas corrientes alegran la ciudad de Dios, la santa habitación del Altísimo. 5 Dios está en ella, la ciudad no caerá; al rayar el alba, Dios le brindará su ayuda. 6 Se agitan las naciones, se tambalean los reinos; Dios deja oír su voz, y la tierra se derrumba. 7 El SEÑOR Todopoderoso está con nosotros; nuestro refugio es el Dios de Jacob. Selah 8 Venid y ved los portentos del SEÑOR; él ha traído desolación sobre la tierra. 9 Ha puesto fin a las guerras en todos los confines de la tierra; ha quebrado los arcos, ha destrozado las lanzas, ha arrojado los carros al fuego. 10 «Quedaos quietos, reconoced que yo soy Dios. ¡Yo seré exaltado entre las naciones! ¡Yo seré enaltecido en la tierra!» 11 El SEÑOR Todopoderoso está con nosotros; nuestro refugio es el Dios de Jacob. 1 To the choirmaster. Of the Sons of Korah. According to Alamoth.[1] A Song. God is our refuge and strength, a very present[2] help in trouble. (5Mo 4,7; 1Chr 15,20; Ps 9,9; Ps 14,6; Ps 42,1; Ps 145,18) 2 Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, (Ps 18,7; Hes 27,26) 3 though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling. (Ps 93,3; Jer 5,22) 4 There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy habitation of the Most High. (Ps 36,8; Ps 43,3; Ps 48,1; Ps 65,9; Ps 84,1; Ps 87,3; Jes 8,6; Jes 33,21; Jes 60,14; Offb 22,1) 5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns.
