Descendientes de Adán

1 Esta es la lista de los descendientes de Adán. Cuando Dios creó al ser humano, lo hizo a semejanza de Dios mismo. 2 Los creó hombre y mujer, y los bendijo. El día que fueron creados los llamó«seres humanos».^[1] 3 Cuando Adán llegó a la edad de ciento treinta años, tuvo un hijo a su imagen y semejanza, y lo llamó Set. 4 Después del nacimiento de Set, Adán vivió ochocientos años más, y tuvo otros hijos y otras hijas. 5 De modo que Adán murió a los novecientos treinta años de edad. 6 Set tenía ciento cinco años cuando fue padre de^[2] Enós. 7 Después del nacimiento de Enós, Set vivió ochocientos siete años más, y tuvo otros hijos y otras hijas. 8 De modo que Set murió a los novecientos doce años de edad. 9 Enós tenía noventa años cuando fue padre de Cainán. 10 Después del nacimiento de Cainán, Enós vivió ochocientos quince años más, y tuvo otros hijos y otras hijas. 11 De modo que Enós murió a los novecientos cinco años de edad. 12 Cainán tenía setenta años cuando fue padre de Malalel. 13 Después del nacimiento de Malalel, Cainán vivió ochocientos cuarenta años más, y tuvo otros hijos y otras hijas. 14 De modo que Cainán murió a los novecientos diez años de edad. 15 Malalel tenía sesenta y cinco años cuando fue padre de Jared. 16 Después del nacimiento de Jared, Malalel vivió ochocientos treinta años más, y tuvo otros hijos y otras hijas. 17 De modo que Malalel murió a los ochocientos noventa y cinco años de edad. 18 Jared tenía ciento sesenta y dos años cuando fue padre de Enoc. 19 Después del nacimiento de Enoc, Jared vivió ochocientos años más, y tuvo otros hijos y otras hijas. 20 De modo que Jared murió a los novecientos sesenta y dos años de edad. 21 Enoc tenía sesenta y cinco años cuando fue padre de Matusalén. 22 Después del nacimiento de Matusalén, Enoc anduvo fielmente con Dios trescientos años más, y tuvo otros hijos y otras hijas. 23 En total, Enoc vivió trescientos sesenta y cinco años 24 y, como anduvo fielmente con Dios, un día desapareció porque Dios se lo llevó. 25 Matusalén tenía ciento ochenta y siete años cuando fue padre de Lamec. 26 Después del nacimiento de Lamec, Matusalén vivió setecientos ochenta y dos años más, y tuvo otros hijos y otras hijas. 27 De modo que Matusalén murió a los novecientos sesenta y nueve años de edad. 28 Lamec tenía ciento ochenta y dos años cuando fue padre de Noé.^[3] 29 Le dio ese nombre porque dijo: «Este niño nos dará descanso en nuestra tarea y penosos trabajos, en esta tierra que maldijo el SEÑOR». 30 Después del nacimiento de Noé, Lamec vivió quinientos noventa y cinco años más, y tuvo otros hijos y otras hijas. 31 De modo que Lamec murió a los setecientos setenta y siete años de edad. 32 Noé ya había cumplido quinientos años cuando fue padre de Sem, Cam y Jafet.

Adam’s Descendants to Noah

1 This is the book of the generations of Adam. When God created man, he made him in the likeness of God. (1Mo 1,26) 2 Male and female he created them, and he blessed them and named them Man^[1] when they were created. 3 When Adam had lived 130 years, he fathered a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth. (1Mo 4,25) 4 The days of Adam after he fathered Seth were 800 years; and he had other sons and daughters. (1Chr 1,1; Lk 3,36) 5 Thus all the days that Adam lived were 930 years, and he died. (1Mo 3,19) 6 When Seth had lived 105 years, he fathered Enosh. (1Mo 4,26) 7 Seth lived after he fathered Enosh 807 years and had other sons and daughters. 8 Thus all the days of Seth were 912 years, and he died. 9 When Enosh had lived 90 years, he fathered Kenan. 10 Enosh lived after he fathered Kenan 815 years and had other sons and daughters. 11 Thus all the days of Enosh were 905 years, and he died. 12 When Kenan had lived 70 years, he fathered Mahalalel. 13 Kenan lived after he fathered Mahalalel 840 years and had other sons and daughters. 14 Thus all the days of Kenan were 910 years, and he died. 15 When Mahalalel had lived 65 years, he fathered Jared. 16 Mahalalel lived after he fathered Jared 830 years and had other sons and daughters. 17 Thus all the days of Mahalalel were 895 years, and he died. 18 When Jared had lived 162 years, he fathered Enoch. (Jud 1,14) 19 Jared lived after he fathered Enoch 800 years and had other sons and daughters. 20 Thus all the days of Jared were 962 years, and he died. 21 When Enoch had lived 65 years, he fathered Methuselah. 22 Enoch walked with God^[2] after he fathered Methuselah 300 years and had other sons and daughters. 23 Thus all the days of Enoch were 365 years. 24 Enoch walked with God, and he was not,^[3] for God took him. (1Mo 5,22; 2Kön 2,11; Hebr 11,5) 25 When Methuselah had lived 187 years, he fathered Lamech. 26 Methuselah lived after he fathered Lamech 782 years and had other sons and daughters. 27 Thus all the days of Methuselah were 969 years, and he died. 28 When Lamech had lived 182 years, he fathered a son 29 and called his name Noah, saying, “Out of the ground that the Lord has cursed, this one shall bring us relief^[4] from our work and from the painful toil of our hands.” (1Mo 3,17) 30 Lamech lived after he fathered Noah 595 years and had other sons and daughters. 31 Thus all the days of Lamech were 777 years, and he died. 32 After Noah was 500 years old, Noah fathered Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
