Хвалебная песнь Давида

1 Давид воспел Господу слова этой песни, когда Господь избавил его от рук всех его врагов и от руки Саула. (Ps 17,1) 2 Он сказал: – Господь – скала моя, твердыня моя и мой избавитель; 3 Бог мой – скала моя, в Нем я ищу прибежища, Он – мой щит и рог^[1] моего спасения, моя крепость. Он – мое прибежище и мой спаситель; Ты спас меня от насилия. 4 К Господу воззову, достойному хвалы, – и от врагов моих спасусь. 5 Волны смерти вскипели вокруг меня, захлестнула стремнина гибели. 6 Цепи мира мертвых^[2] обвили меня, и опутали сети смерти. 7 В бедствии своем я Господа призвал; я воззвал к моему Богу. Из Своего храма Он услышал мой голос; крик мой дошел до ушей Его. 8 Задрожала земля, сотряслась, пошатнулись основания небес^[3], задрожали, потому что разгневался Он. 4 I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.
