The Lord Has Chosen Zion

1 A Song of Ascents. Remember, O Lord, in David’s favor, all the hardships he endured, (1Пар 22:14; Пс 120:1) 

2 how he swore to the Lord and vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob, (Быт 49:24; Пс 50:14; Пс 132:5; Ис 49:26; Ис 60:16) 

3 “I will not enter my house or get into my bed, 

4 I will not give sleep to my eyes or slumber to my eyelids, (Прит 6:4) 

5 until I find a place for the Lord, a dwelling place for the Mighty One of Jacob.” (1Пар 22:7; Пс 132:2; Деян 7:46) 

6 Behold, we heard of it in Ephrathah; we found it in the fields of Jaar. (Быт 35:19; 1Цар 7:1; 1Цар 17:12) 

7 “Let us go to his dwelling place; let us worship at his footstool!” (Пс 5:7; Пс 99:5)
