1 Песнь восхождения. Когда вернул Господь пленных на Сион, мы были как бы во сне. 2 Тогда уста наши были наполнены смехом, и язык наш – пением. Тогда говорили народы: «Великие дела сотворил для них Господь». 3 Великие дела сотворил для нас Господь, и мы радовались. 4 Верни нам благополучие, Господи, как реки в пустыне Негев. 5 Сеявшие со слезами будут пожинать с возгласами радости. 6 С плачем несущий суму с семенами с радостью возвратится, неся свои снопы.

1 A Song of Ascents. Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever. (Ps 25,2; Ps 93,1; Ps 104,5; Ps 120,1; Spr 10,30) 2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people, from this time forth and forevermore. (2Kön 6,17; Sach 2,5) 3 For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest on the land allotted to the righteous, lest the righteous stretch out their hands to do wrong. (1Mo 3,22; 2Mo 22,8; Ps 16,5; Jes 14,5; Jes 30,30) 4 Do good, O Lord, to those who are good, and to those who are upright in their hearts! (Ps 7,10; Ps 119,68) 5 But those who turn aside to their crooked ways the Lord will lead away with evildoers! Peace be upon Israel! (Ps 40,4; Ps 92,7; Ps 92,9; Ps 94,4; Ps 128,6; Spr 2,15; Gal 6,16)
