7 Наступил день Пресных хлебов, когда следовало заколоть пасхального ягненка, (Mt 26,17; Mk 14,12) 8 и Иисус послал Петра и Иоанна с поручением: – Идите и приготовьте для нас пасхальный ужин. 9 – Где Ты хочешь, чтобы мы его приготовили? – спросили они. 10 Он ответил: – Когда вы войдете в город, то встретите человека, несущего кувшин с водой. Идите за ним в дом, куда он войдет, 11 и скажите хозяину дома: «Учитель спрашивает тебя: Где комната для гостей, в которой Я буду есть пасхальный ужин с Моими учениками?» 12 Он покажет вам большую комнату наверху, в которой уже все подготовлено; там и приготовьте ужин. 13 Они пошли, и все произошло так, как им сказал Иисус, и они приготовили пасхальный ужин. 



14 Когда подошло время, Иисус и Его апостолы собрались у стола. (Mt 26,20; Mk 14,17; Joh 13,21; 1Kor 11,23) 15 Иисус сказал им: – Я очень хотел есть эту Пасху с вами перед Моими страданиями. 16 Говорю вам, что Я уже не буду есть ее до тех пор, пока она не совершится в Царстве Божьем. 17 Взяв чашу и поблагодарив за нее Бога, Он сказал: – Возьмите ее и разделите между собой. 18 Говорю вам, что Я уже не буду пить от плода виноградного до тех пор, пока не придет Божье Царство. 19 Затем, взяв хлеб и поблагодарив за него Бога, Он разломил его и дал им со словами: – Это Мое тело, отдаваемое за вас. Делайте это в воспоминание обо Мне. 20 Также взял и чашу после ужина и сказал: – Эта чаша – новый завет, скрепленный Моей кровью, которая за вас проливается[1]. (2Mo 24,8; Hebr 9,18) 21 Но рука того, кто предает Меня, на одном столе с Моей. 22 С Сыном Человеческим все случится так, как было предназначено, но горе тому человеку, который предает Его. 23 Тогда ученики начали спрашивать друг друга, кто из них мог бы совершить такое. 



24 Потом они начали спорить, кто из них должен считаться самым великим. (Mt 19,28; Mt 20,25; Mk 10,42) 25 Иисус тогда сказал им: – Цари язычников господствуют над ними, правителей народа именуют«благодетелями», 26 но вы не будьте, как они. Напротив, пусть самый великий среди вас будет как самый меньший, и начальник – как слуга. 27 Ведь кто важнее: тот, кто возлежит за столом, или тот, кто прислуживает? Разве не тот, кто возлежит? Я же среди вас как слуга. 28 Вы были со Мной во всех Моих испытаниях, 29 и как Мой Отец дал Мне царскую власть, так Я теперь даю ее вам, 30 чтобы и вы могли есть и пить за Моим столом в Моем Царстве, и вы сядете на престолах править[2] двенадцатью родами Израиля. 



31 – Симон, Симон, сатана просил, чтобы все вы были рассеяны, как пшеница, (Mt 26,33; Mk 14,29; Joh 13,37) 32 но Я молился о тебе, чтобы ты не потерял веру. И ты сам, когда обратишься ко Мне, укрепи своих братьев. 33 Петр ответил: – Господи, я готов идти с Тобой и в темницу, и на смерть! 34 Но Иисус сказал: – Говорю тебе, Петр, не успеет и петух пропеть сегодня, как ты трижды отречешься от того, что знаешь Меня. 35 Потом Иисус спросил их: – Когда Я посылал вас без кошелька, без сумки, без сандалий, нуждались ли вы в чем-либо? – Ни в чем, – ответили они. 36 – Сейчас же, если у вас есть кошелек, возьмите его, возьмите и сумку, и если у вас нет меча, то продайте плащ, но купите меч[3]. (Mt 26,51; Lk 22,49; Joh 18,36; 2Kor 10,3) 37 Говорю вам, что со Мной должно исполниться сказанное в Писании: «Он был причислен к преступникам»[4]. Все, что обо Мне было написано, скоро исполнится. (Jes 53,12) 38 Ученики сказали: – Смотри, Господи, у нас есть два меча. – Достаточно об этом, – ответил Иисус. 



39 Иисус, как обычно, пошел на Оливковую гору, и Его ученики пошли с Ним. (Mt 26,36; Mk 14,32) 40 Придя на место, Иисус сказал: – Молитесь, чтобы вам не поддаться искушению. 41 Он отошел от них примерно на расстояние брошенного камня, опустился на колени и начал молиться: 42 – Отец, если Ты хочешь, пронеси эту чашу мимо Меня, но пусть все будет не по Моей воле, а по Твоей. 43 Тогда с небес Ему явился ангел и укреплял Его. 44 В муках Иисус стал молиться еще горячее, и сделался пот Его как капли крови, стекавшие на землю. 45 Когда Он поднялся с молитвы и вернулся к ученикам, то нашел их спящими, потому что они были измучены печалью. 46 – Почему вы спите? – спросил Иисус. – Вставайте и молитесь, чтобы вам не поддаться искушению. 



47 Он еще говорил, когда приблизилась толпа, во главе которой шел тот, кого звали Иудой, один из двенадцати учеников. Он подошел к Иисусу, чтобы поцеловать Его. (Mt 26,47; Mk 14,43; Joh 18,3) 48 Иисус сказал: – Иуда, ты поцелуем предаешь Сына Человеческого? 49 Когда же те, кто был с Иисусом, увидели, что происходит, они спросили: – Господи, а что если нам ударить мечом? 50 И один из них ударил слугу первосвященника и отсек ему правое ухо. 51 Но Иисус сказал: – Прекратите, довольно! 54 Они схватили Его и повели в дом первосвященника. Петр, держась поодаль, следовал за ними. (Mt 26,67; Mk 14,66; Joh 18,15; Joh 18,25) 55 Посреди двора первосвященника разожгли костер, и Петр вместе с другими людьми сел к нему греться. 56 Одна из служанок, увидев Петра в свете огня, пристально всмотрелась в него и сказала: – Этот человек тоже был с Ним. 57 Но Петр отрицал это. – Я не знаю Его, женщина, – сказал он. 58 Немного позже кто-то другой увидел его и сказал: – Ты тоже один из них. – Нет, друг, – ответил Петр. 59 Примерно час спустя еще кто-то стал утверждать: – Точно, этот человек тоже был с Ним, ведь он галилеянин. 60 Но Петр сказал: – Я не знаю, о чем ты говоришь! И тотчас, когда он еще говорил, пропел петух. 61 Господь повернулся и посмотрел на Петра. Тогда Петр вспомнил слова Господа, как Он сказал ему: – Прежде чем пропоет петух сегодня, ты трижды отречешься от Меня. 62 И выйдя наружу, он горько заплакал. 63 Люди, охранявшие Иисуса, стали насмехаться над Ним и бить Его. 64 Они завязывали Ему глаза и требовали: – Пророчествуй! Кто Тебя ударил? 65 И говорили Ему много других оскорблений. 



66 Рано утром старейшины народа, первосвященники и учители Закона собрались вместе на Совет. К ним ввели Иисуса. (Mt 26,59; Mk 14,55; Joh 18,19) 67 – Если Ты Христос, то скажи нам прямо, – требовали они. Иисус ответил: – Если Я скажу вам, вы не поверите, 68 и если Я вас спрошу, вы Мне не ответите. 69 Однако с этого времени Сын Человеческий будет сидеть по правую руку от Божьей силы[6]. (Ps 109,1) 70 Они все стали спрашивать: – Так Ты что, Сын Бога? Он ответил: – Вы сами говорите, что это Я. 71 Тогда они сказали: – Какие нам еще нужны свидетельства? Мы слышали это из Его собственных уст!

1 Now the Feast of Unleavened Bread drew near, which is called the Passover. (Mt 26,2; Mk 14,1; Joh 6,4) 2 And the chief priests and the scribes were seeking how to put him to death, for they feared the people. (Mt 21,46; Joh 11,53) 



3 Then Satan entered into Judas called Iscariot, who was of the number of the twelve. (Mt 26,14; Mt 27,3; Mk 14,10; Lk 6,16; Joh 6,71; Joh 12,4; Joh 13,2; Joh 13,27; Joh 13,30; Apg 1,16; Apg 5,3) 4 He went away and conferred with the chief priests and officers how he might betray him to them. (Apg 4,1; Apg 5,24; Apg 5,26) 5 And they were glad, and agreed to give him money. 6 So he consented and sought an opportunity to betray him to them in the absence of a crowd. (Mt 20,18) 



7 Then came the day of Unleavened Bread, on which the Passover lamb had to be sacrificed. (2Mo 12,18; Mt 26,17; Mk 14,12; 1Kor 5,7) 8 So Jesus[1] sent Peter and John, saying, “Go and prepare the Passover for us, that we may eat it.” 9 They said to him, “Where will you have us prepare it?” 10 He said to them, “Behold, when you have entered the city, a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him into the house that he enters 11 and tell the master of the house, ‘The Teacher says to you, Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?’ (Lk 2,7; Joh 11,28) 12 And he will show you a large upper room furnished; prepare it there.” (Apg 1,13) 13 And they went and found it just as he had told them, and they prepared the Passover. (Lk 19,32) 



14 And when the hour came, he reclined at table, and the apostles with him. (Mt 26,20; Mk 14,17) 15 And he said to them, “I have earnestly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer. 16 For I tell you I will not eat it[2] until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.” (Lk 14,15; Lk 22,30; Offb 19,9) 17 And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he said, “Take this, and divide it among yourselves. (Mt 15,36) 18 For I tell you that from now on I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.” (Mt 26,29; Mk 14,25; Lk 22,16) 19 And he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” (Mt 26,26; Mk 14,22; Lk 22,17; Joh 6,53; 1Kor 10,16; 1Kor 11,23) 20 And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood.[3] (2Mo 24,8; Sach 9,11; Lk 22,19; 2Kor 3,6; Hebr 13,20) 21 But behold, the hand of him who betrays me is with me on the table. (Ps 41,9; Mt 26,21; Mk 14,18; Joh 13,18; Joh 13,21) 22 For the Son of Man goes as it has been determined, but woe to that man by whom he is betrayed!” (Apg 2,23) 23 And they began to question one another, which of them it could be who was going to do this. 



24 A dispute also arose among them, as to which of them was to be regarded as the greatest. (Mk 9,34; Lk 9,46) 25 And he said to them, “The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them, and those in authority over them are called benefactors. (Mt 18,1; Mt 20,25; Mk 10,42; 1Petr 5,3) 26 But not so with you. Rather, let the greatest among you become as the youngest, and the leader as one who serves. (Mt 23,11; Lk 9,48; Lk 22,25) 27 For who is the greater, one who reclines at table or one who serves? Is it not the one who reclines at table? But I am among you as the one who serves. (Mt 20,28; Lk 12,37) 28 “You are those who have stayed with me in my trials, (Hebr 2,18; Hebr 4,15) 29 and I assign to you, as my Father assigned to me, a kingdom, (Mt 25,34; Mt 28,18; Joh 17,18; Apg 14,22; 2Tim 2,12; Offb 1,6) 30 that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 31 “Simon, Simon, behold, Satan demanded to have you,[4] that he might sift you like wheat, (Hi 1,6; Hi 2,1; Am 9,9; Joh 16,32; 1Kor 5,5; 2Kor 2,11; 1Petr 5,8) 32 but I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned again, strengthen your brothers.” (Ps 51,13; Joh 17,9; Joh 17,11; Joh 17,15; Joh 21,15) 33 Peter[5] said to him, “Lord, I am ready to go with you both to prison and to death.” (Joh 21,19; Apg 12,4) 34 Jesus[6] said, “I tell you, Peter, the rooster will not crow this day, until you deny three times that you know me.” (Mt 26,33; Mk 14,29; Joh 13,37) 



35 And he said to them, “When I sent you out with no moneybag or knapsack or sandals, did you lack anything?” They said, “Nothing.” (Mt 10,9; Mk 6,8; Lk 9,3; Lk 10,4) 36 He said to them, “But now let the one who has a moneybag take it, and likewise a knapsack. And let the one who has no sword sell his cloak and buy one. 37 For I tell you that this Scripture must be fulfilled in me: ‘And he was numbered with the transgressors.’ For what is written about me has its fulfillment.” (Jes 53,12; Mt 1,22; Lk 13,33; Joh 17,4; Joh 19,30; Apg 1,16) 38 And they said, “Look, Lord, here are two swords.” And he said to them, “It is enough.” (5Mo 3,26; Mk 14,41; Lk 22,49) 



39 And he came out and went, as was his custom, to the Mount of Olives, and the disciples followed him. (Mt 21,1; Mt 26,30; Mk 14,26; Lk 21,37; Joh 18,1; Joh 18,2) 40 And when he came to the place, he said to them, “Pray that you may not enter into temptation.” (Mt 6,13; Mt 26,36; Mk 14,32; Joh 18,2; 1Petr 4,7) 41 And he withdrew from them about a stone’s throw, and knelt down and prayed, (Apg 7,60) 42 saying, “Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.” (Mt 6,10; Mt 20,22; Hebr 5,7) 43 And there appeared to him an angel from heaven, strengthening him. (Mt 4,11; Hebr 1,14) 44 And being in agony he prayed more earnestly; and his sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground.[7] (Lk 22,42) 45 And when he rose from prayer, he came to the disciples and found them sleeping for sorrow, 46 and he said to them, “Why are you sleeping? Rise and pray that you may not enter into temptation.” (Lk 22,40) 



47 While he was still speaking, there came a crowd, and the man called Judas, one of the twelve, was leading them. He drew near to Jesus to kiss him, (Mt 26,47; Mk 14,43; Lk 22,3; Joh 18,3) 48 but Jesus said to him, “Judas, would you betray the Son of Man with a kiss?” 49 And when those who were around him saw what would follow, they said, “Lord, shall we strike with the sword?” (Lk 22,38) 50 And one of them struck the servant[8] of the high priest and cut off his right ear. 51 But Jesus said, “No more of this!” And he touched his ear and healed him. 52 Then Jesus said to the chief priests and officers of the temple and elders, who had come out against him, “Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs? (Lk 22,4) 53 When I was with you day after day in the temple, you did not lay hands on me. But this is your hour, and the power of darkness.” (Mk 14,35; Mk 14,41; Lk 2,46; Joh 8,2; Joh 12,27; Joh 16,4; Joh 18,20; Apg 26,18; Eph 6,12) 



54 Then they seized him and led him away, bringing him into the high priest’s house, and Peter was following at a distance. (Mt 26,57; Mt 26,58; Mk 14,53; Mk 14,54; Joh 18,15) 55 And when they had kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard and sat down together, Peter sat down among them. (Mt 26,3; Mt 26,69; Mk 14,66; Joh 18,16; Joh 18,25) 56 Then a servant girl, seeing him as he sat in the light and looking closely at him, said, “This man also was with him.” 57 But he denied it, saying, “Woman, I do not know him.” 58 And a little later someone else saw him and said, “You also are one of them.” But Peter said, “Man, I am not.” 59 And after an interval of about an hour still another insisted, saying, “Certainly this man also was with him, for he too is a Galilean.” (Apg 12,15) 60 But Peter said, “Man, I do not know what you are talking about.” And immediately, while he was still speaking, the rooster crowed. 61 And the Lord turned and looked at Peter. And Peter remembered the saying of the Lord, how he had said to him, “Before the rooster crows today, you will deny me three times.” (Mk 10,21; Lk 22,34; Apg 3,13) 62 And he went out and wept bitterly. 



63 Now the men who were holding Jesus in custody were mocking him as they beat him. (Mt 26,67; Mk 14,65; Joh 18,22) 64 They also blindfolded him and kept asking him, “Prophesy! Who is it that struck you?” (Lk 7,39; Lk 22,63) 65 And they said many other things against him, blaspheming him. (Mt 27,39) 



66 When day came, the assembly of the elders of the people gathered together, both chief priests and scribes. And they led him away to their council, and they said, (Mt 5,22; Mt 26,63; Mt 27,1; Mk 14,61; Mk 15,1; Lk 22,67; Joh 18,19; Joh 18,28; Apg 22,5) 67 “If you are the Christ, tell us.” But he said to them, “If I tell you, you will not believe, (Mt 1,17; Joh 10,24) 68 and if I ask you, you will not answer. 69 But from now on the Son of Man shall be seated at the right hand of the power of God.” (Mk 16,19; Apg 7,56; Hebr 1,3) 70 So they all said, “Are you the Son of God, then?” And he said to them, “You say that I am.” (Mt 14,33; Mt 26,25; Mt 27,11; Mk 15,2; Lk 23,3) 71 Then they said, “What further testimony do we need? We have heard it ourselves from his own lips.”
